A Study On The Impact Of Low Carbon Transformation On Economic Growth In Hebei Province

The growing trend of global warming has made countries around the world seek a lowcarbon transition.Hebei Province has also actively promoted low-carbon transformation in recent years,but its economic growth has gradually slowed down.So what is the impact of Hebei's low-carbon transition on economic growth? How can Hebei minimize the cost of economic costs while promoting low-carbon transformation? Under the prominent contradiction between the promotion of low-carbon transformation and the decline of economic growth in Hebei Province,the study of these issues will help us to have a deeper understanding of the low-carbon transformation in Hebei Province.In view of the above research background and combing the domestic and foreign literatures,this paper first defines the connotation of low-carbon transformation,and believes that low-carbon transformation refers to the extensive economic growth mode of high energy consumption,high emissions and high pollution,and gradually transforms.The process of a low-carbon,energy-efficient green economy growth model.This paper theoretically discusses the intrinsic relationship between energy consumption,carbon dioxide emissions and economic growth,and studies the theoretical impact of low-carbon transition on economic growth under the framework of endogenous growth.Then this paper sorts out the work of Hebei Provincial Government to promote low-carbon transformation,and analyzes the effectiveness of lowcarbon transformation in Hebei Province from two aspects of carbon dioxide emissions and energy consumption.Then it was evaluated for the low carbon transition process in Hebei Province from 1995 to 2016.Finally,based on the carbon dioxide emissions,this paper studies the impact of low-carbon transition in Hebei Province on economic growth.Then,from the perspective of government policy,comprehensively consider the policy requirements of carbon and carbon dioxide emission reduction methods to establish a VAR model and analyze carbon emission reduction.The dynamic impact of the way on economic growth in Hebei Province,in order to deepen the understanding of the impact of low-carbon transformation in Hebei Province on economic growth.Through empirical research,the paper concludes that the policy of promoting low-carbon transformation in Hebei Province restricts economic growth due to industrial-based industrial structure;carbon dioxide emissions have a strong pulling effect on economic growth in Hebei Province,and low-carbon transformation in Hebei Province in the future will still weaken economic growth;in the context of low-carbon transition,improving the technical level is the main driving force for economic growth in Hebei Province.In view of the above conclusions,this paper believes that Hebei Province's future promotion of low-carbon transformation should focus on: transforming industrial structure,establishing a low-carbon industrial system;adjusting energy structure,increasing the use of clean energy;improving the technological level and contributing to the development of lowcarbon economy.
