Organoselenium and coumarin derivatives have been widely applied in the fields of pharmaceuticals and materials.The development of simple and efficient synthetic method with high atom-economy is a long-standing focus for synthetic chemists.This thesis focuses on the synthesis of 3-organoselenyl-2H-coumarins through oxidative radical cyclization,which mainly includes the following two chapters:Chapter 1: Progress on the Synthesis of Organoselenium and Coumarin DerivativesThis chapter contains two parts.In the first part,the research progress of organoselenium compounds has been introduced briefly.In the second part,several representative works on the construction of 3-substituded coumarins by employing alkynoates were described.Chapter 2: Studies on the Synthesis of 3-Organoselenyl-2H-Coumarins via Oxidative Radical CyclizationWe developed an oxidative radical cyclization of propargylic aryl ethers with diaryl diselenides.This protocol provided a simple and efficient method to synthesize 3-organoselenyl-2H-coumarins via the formation of C–C bond,C–Se bond and C=O bond in one step.Moreover,this reaction has wide substrate scope and a broad range of functional groups(such as aldehyde,ketone,halogen,cyano and nitro group)could be well tolerated.
