Design And Implementation Of XX Group Assets Management System

Assets are the basis of company to produce and provide products and they are the foundation of company to survive and develop.Enterprise assets management is the issue that must be involved in all companies.XX Group is a lar ge diversified enterprise with the main business of coal production and operation.It has many subsidiaries and they are distributed,which leads to the difficulty for the company to do physical assets management.The main aim of thisthesis is to solve the problems in physical assets management in the group,such as the account and the physical are unmatched,lower management efficiency.After the investigation of current situation of assets management in XX group,this studyoptimizedthe organization,management method and the process concerning assets management in order to improve the assets management level.The assets management information system is developed based on the application of MVC design mode and C#.NET framework.The assets management system implemented by this work includes following functions: 1)Asset main data management function,which is used to setup,revise and inquiry the main data of assets and to create the asset card.2)Asset splitting management function,which is used to perform the audit of asset splitting process to split an asset into several related assets.3)Asset allocation management function,which is used to perform the approval of asset allocation to allocate the assets within a company or among companies.4)Asset inven tory management function,which is used to assign the task of asset inventory to do the physical asset inventory.5)Asset retirement management function,which is used to perform the retirement of an asset at the end of the asset life cycle and to perform relevant asset accounting tasks.Compared with other systems,this system has the following characters: 1)The assets management information system in the market is the assets management in general sense,but this system starts from the point of view of the actual situation of the information system of XX group.It achieves the assets management functions including purchase,use,in/out storage,lifecycle management and accounting through the combination of assets procurement bidding system,warehouse manage ment system,and ERP SAP system in XX group.2)As one part of the whole information system of the group,this system integrated with the other systems of XX group related on assets management through the enterprise service bus andrealized the SOA structure.During the design and implementation of the system,we mainly studied the following problems: 1)We performed the study on the management methods,organization structure,business process and business functions of assets management.Based on the results of relevant study and the reference to the asset management methods of other domestic large enterprise and the combination of the situation of the assets management of XX group,we changed the organization,redesigned themanagement methods and optimized t he correspondent business process concerning the assets management.All of these will be shown respectively in the design and implementation stages.2)We performed a detailed study to the construction of SOA system structure and enterprise service bus.This systemrealized the SOA structure through using enterprise service bus in the group.As one part of the information system of the group,the assets management information system realized a high-efficient integration with other information systems to achieve the better loose coupling and reusability.3)We Studied the MVC design mode and designedthe whole asset management system according to the MVC architecture which led to the better reuse of code.By far,the system has been operated for more than 3 months and the basic functions satisfied with the actual requirements of the assets management of the group.The system has been operated stable and well,which supported the improvement of the assets management effectively and fixed the correspondent business process.Taking asset inventory for example,before using this system,the inventory of all companies needed one month to finish and it could not make sure the validity of the data.But now using this system,it only takes one week to finish correspondent inventory,which increased the working efficiency of asset management.
