Abstract/Summary:
The continuous casting process is an important part of quality control in the steel production process and plays a key role in the entire steel production process and the quality assurance of the slab.In the continuous casting process,the secondary cooling process control is the most important control part.The level of the secondary cooling process control will have a direct and serious impact on the quality of the slab.Achieving the reasonable distribution of the spray water volume in the continuous cooling zone is one of the prerequisites for ensuring the uniform cooling of the slab.Uniform cooling is of great significance for improving the quality of the slab.Therefore,it is of great value and research significance to optimize and control the secondary cooling in the continuous casting process.In this paper,a mathematical model for solidification and heat transfer of billet continuous casting is established for a steel mill 180 mm section billet continuous casting machine.The finite difference method is used to solve the equation,and the heat transfer boundary conditions of the model are determined by the actual surface temperature measurement data.Through the simulation of the continuous casting process,and then the research and analysis of the main solidification parameters obtained by the simulation,the combination of the analysis results and the actual production of the casting machine provides guiding significance for the continuous casting production.A reasonable secondary cooling structure is a prerequisite for ensuring the effect and quality of the secondary cooling process.The secondary cooling structure of the casting machine was optimized using the secondary cooling simulation software of billet continuous casting.The problems existing in the two-cold structure of the existing casting machine are analyzed.According to the principle of uniform cooling of the slab and the actual condition of the casting machine,a scheme suitable for the nozzle arrangement of the caster under study is proposed,thereby determining the billet casting machine.Secondary cooling structure.The product classification of the billet casting machine of the steel mill is classified into steel grades,and the steel grades are classified according to the different cold characteristics of various steel grades,so as to establish a matching secondary cooling system for various steel grades.Based on the traditional parameter control method,a new model of secondary cooling process based on molten steel superheat and secondary cold water temperature was proposed.Based on the traditional parameter control method,the new model of the secondary cooling process based on the superheat of molten steel and the temperature of the second cold water was proposed.The effects of the change of molten steel casting temperature and the change of molten steel composition on the secondary cooling were analyzed in detail,and the comprehensive consideration of both was unified in the influence of the change of superheat of molten steel on the secondary cooling of continuous casting;The effect of the secondary cold water inlet temperature on the secondary cooling of continuous casting.Finally,a new model of secondary cooling control process based on superheat change and secondary cooling inlet temperature change was established.The secondary cooling simulation software of billet continuous casting was used to study the two typical steel grades A and B,and the continuous casting process was simulated.The variation law of the surface temperature of the slab in the direction of the blanking,the variation of the center temperature of the slab and the temperature field distribution of the slab at the typical location are analyzed.
