Coconut,as a fruit for daily consumption,has high nutritional value,including coconut juice and coconut meat.Nowadays,in order to obtain the edible part of coconut through automation equipment,domestic and foreign researchers have studied on the prototype machine of coconut opening machines,basically realized the requirement of collecting coconut juice and coconut meat at the same time.However,there are still some problems in this kind of opening machines,such as low automation,unsafe cutting and not suitable for the occasions directly facing consumers.Therefore,this paper studies a monitoring system for the working status of coconut opening machines,which uses foodgrade stainless steel cutter to complete coconut opening safely and efficiently within about 25 seconds.The diameter of the coconut cutting is 60 mm,and the working status of remote monitoring equipment is realized.Based on the structure of the prototype machine,the DC motor is used to drive the cutter to rotate.According to the electric power and shaft power detection method of the cutting force of the wood material,an indirect identification scheme for the cutting force of the coconut shell is designed.The scheme sends the real-time speed and current values of the motor to PC through STM32F103RCT6 chip,and indirectly identifies the changing law of the cutting force of coconut shell in each stage of the opening process.The identification of cutting force provides the basis for the selection of key components of the opening machine and the configuration of system hardware and software parameters.The system includes two parts: the terminal of the opening equipment and the remote monitoring equipment.The equipment terminal uses the processor STM32F103RCT6 to monitor the opening process of coconut with the working status identification unit and switching unit.The process of coconut cutting is monitored indirectly.The processor uses the current value of the cutter motor as the original data,and uses absolute difference and differential algorithm for the current value of the set time period to automatically identify the progress stage of coconut cutting.The accumulative value of motor output power is calculated indirectly by monitoring the current value of the holding motor by the processor.According to the positive correlation between motor output power and the holding degree of coconut palm,the holding state of coconut palm is identified.The current value of the holding motor is monitored by the processor,and the cumulative value of the output power of the motor during the tightening process is indirectly calculated.The terminal processor monitors the working status of the equipment during the opening process in real time,and stores the number of coconut openings and alarm information in time.According to the uniqueness of the equipment number,the GPRS communication technology is used to send the working state data of the equipment to the monitoring center accurately when the equipment is idle,and the equipment status information is managed uniformly and intensively.Through the control of the monitoring system,the perforator can automatically,efficiently and safely complete the coconut cutting work,and the working status data of the perforator can be timely stored in the monitoring center.After the system test,the coconut opening accuracy is about 98%,holding the sliding rate of 0.1%.In view of the performance of the hole-opening machine,the optimal feed speed of the cutter is 4mm/s and the output power of the clamping motor is 250 J.
