Exploitation and utilization of mineral resources cause ecological problems which become more and more prominent.As an important index to measure the ecological environment,Landscape ecological quality can not only reflect the ability of the mining area to maintain its own structural and functional stability,but also reveal the potential of the mining area to meet the ecological functions of biological survival and development.Landscape ecological effect is an effective tool to evaluate the sustainable use of land,which is of great significance for maintaining the sustainable development and protecting the ecological environment of the mining area.Therefore,the study of landscape ecological quality and its ecological effects in the mining area can help to promote the improvement of ecological environment and accelerate the construction of regional ecological civilizationHere in this paper,taking Zhaogu coal mine as an example,the evaluation index system of landscape ecological quality which based on the degree of landscape stability and degree of landscape disturbance was constructed.Then the four-quadrant evaluation model was applied to evaluate the landscape ecological quality and its changes in time dimension and spatial scale.Finally,combined with the characteristics of landscape change,the ecological effect of the mining area was analyzed which based on the evaluation system of landscape ecological quality.The main results are as follows:(1)During 2008 to 2016,the landscape ecological quality changing of the Zhaogu coal mine area was significant.On the time scale,the landscape ecological quality of the study area showed the changing trend of ‘good-bad-well-better';on the spatial scale,the landscape ecological quality showed the trend of improvement after getting worse in the village landscape near the mining site and the ecological quality of the village landscape that is far from the mining point of the mining site showed a slight deterioration.(2)During 2008 to 2016,landscape ecological effects of Zhaogu coal mining showed the changing trend of ‘Worse-Improve-Better'.The land use type and landscape structure have been changed under the activities of human disturbance,resulting in the increase of patch fragmentation,the decrease of landscape stability and the increase of landscape disturbance.Then,the ecological effect of landscape presented a trend of deterioration.With the reduction of affected area in mining area and the government's ecological restoration work,the ecological environment of the mining area was effectively improved,and the ecological effect of the landscape was increased.(3)The sustainability of reclaimed landscape in different areas showed that the sustainability of reclaimed landscape in subsidence-free area was better than the sustainability in other areas,and the sustainability of reclaimed landscape in unstable subsidence area was the worst.This showed that choosing a suitable area for rehabilitation is more conducive to achieving regional sustainable development.
