Reverse osmosis membrane technology is widely used in landfill leachate treatment, however, the concentration of organic matter produced by reverse osmosis membrane treatment is high, salinity is high, and the treatment of concentrated liquid is difficult, which limits the application of reverse osmosis membrane technology in landfill leachate.Potassium ferrate???has the characteristics of oxidation, flocculation and disinfection,it has good performance in water treatment,in this paper, two kinds of concentrated liquid produced from landfill leachate treated by reverse osmosis?RO?and disc-tube reverse osmosis?DTRO?are studied, potassium ferrate???,polyaluminium chloride?PAC?and their combined processes were used to treat concentrated liquor.Experiments on pollutant removal and effect analysis were carried out,the main contents and results were as follows,Potassium ferrate???and PAC have certain treatment effect on the two concentrates selected in the experiment. The treatment effect of potassium ferrate???is affected by the dosage of potassium ferrate???,pH and reaction time.COD,UV254 and Chroma removal rate of RO concentrate increased with the increase of potassium ferrate???dosage, the removal rate did not increase when potassium ferrate???concentration reached 3.5g/L,the reaction was basically completed within 40 minutes, the removal efficiency was the best when pH was 5,the removal rates of COD,UV254 and chroma reached 49.65%,49.80%and 87.69%.COD,UV254 and Chroma removal rate of DTRO concentrate increased with the increase of potassium ferrate???dosage, the optimum dosage of potassium ferrate???was 10g/L,and pH was 5,the reaction time was basically completed within 40 minutes,COD,UV254,Chroma removal rate was 38.50%,35.71%and 68.50%.When pH=7 and PAC dosage is 6g/L,the removal rates of COD and UV254 of the RO concentrate is best. When pH=7 and PAC dosage is 15g/L,the removal rates of COD and UV254 of the DTRO concentrate is best.Response surface methodology was used to analyze the effect of potassium ferrate???combined with PAC in treating concentrated liquid, operating parameters are proposed through model analysis, potassium ferrate???dosage ranged from 2.1g/L to 3.0g/L,and pH adjusted to 5.0-6.0.Among them, the PAC dosage was 5.0g/L to 6.0g/L,COD removal efficiency of RO concentrate is the best.Potassium ferrate???dosage ranges from10.0g/L to 13.0g/L,pH from 3.0 to 4.0,and PAC dosage from 13.0g/L to 15.0g/L,COD removal efficiency of DTRO concentrate is the best. The results of three-dimensional fluorescence analysis show that, potassium ferrate???had better removal effect on microbial by-products and tyrosine-like components in DOM of RO concentrate, and potassium ferrate???had better removal effect on fulvic acid components in DOM of DTRO concentrate, and potassium ferrate???had certain effect on DOM removal of RO concentrate.
