"Eight auspicious" is a kind of special meaning pattern in the traditional auspicious pattern."Eight auspicious" is composed of eight auspicious symbols,fauna and fauna and artificial artifacts,is the product of human expectations for a better life,focusing on the connotation of the meaning of good luck.The auspicious connotation exists as an abstract concept,materializes the abstract concept,and transmits auspiciousness with the help of visible and symbolic things,so it is different from general decorative patterns.Eight auspicious cultural meaning,just in line with the female in pregnancy to symbolize the auspicious meaning of clothing consumer psychological emotional needs,through the transmission of a good wish,the intangible into tangible things,to meet the emotional needs,so that consumers have a resonance,thereby obtaining spiritual pleasure.From the perspective of cultural value,combined with the spiritual needs of pregnant women to design contemporary pregnant women can represent the self-image of clothing,but also to maximize the added value of maternity clothing,more cultural thickness.In order to study the expression of eight auspicious elements in maternity wear design,this paper takes the development of fashionable maternity wear as the entry point,how to combine eight auspicious patterns and auspicious implication with maternity wear design from a new perspective as the research object.Firstly,the eight auspicious patterns are combed and analyzed to form a systematic and comprehensive theoretical basis to understand the current situation of pregnant women's wear development.Secondly,in-depth analysis of "eight auspicious" how to apply to the design of maternity wear.This paper focuses on the innovative application of "eight auspicious" in pregnant women's wear pattern design and the application of "eight auspicious" in pregnant women's wear structure design.It is suggested that the design of maternity wear should break through the previous thinking mode of using "shape",and the designer's concept should be promoted to the application of "meaning".On this basis,we design a maternity dress that can be accepted by the public while retaining the eight auspicious artistic features and cultural implications.Finally,through the design practice,the establishment and the test theory achievement,widens the train of thought for the pregnant woman clothing market development.
