Research On The Application Of TUJIA Brocade Pattern In The Design Of Knitted Garments

The Tujia nationality in the Wuling mountainous area is a nation with a long history and fine textiles.Tujia brocade is a traditional folk art of the Tujia nationality.It is also known as the “Four Famous Brocades” of Chinese ethnic minorities with Guangxi Zhuang brocade,Yunnan Dai brocade and Hainan Li brocade.Tujia brocade is a weaving method of "broken warp and weft" on the ancient wood machine.It is hand-woven and woven.The woven materials are generally made of red,blue and blue silk,cotton and twine as the warp.Selecting different color of the silk,cotton and twine according to the pattern as the weft.The pattern of the Tujia brocade is derived from the unique designs of the Tujia family's small patterns or ethnic totems in life,exaggerated or deformed.They truly reflect the Tujia people's love for nature and their longing for life.The classic geometric figures of “single eight hooks”,“double eight hooks” and “forty eight hooks” as well as texts,characters,words,flowers and other subjects.Tujia brocade color is rich and colorful,and it is not chaotic.Its color emphasizes contrast and contrast,such as: contrast between light and dark,contrast between cold and warm,contrast of complementary colors.Applying Tujia brocade patterns to the design of knitted apparel,not only digital reproduction of some representative patterns,but also modern design,refining the classic patterns,and then using a unique knitting process to make them There is a sense of nationality and fashion,in line with the aesthetics of modern people.This paper is divided into six parts.The first part mainly introduces the research background of this topic,and expounds the purpose,significance,content and method of this research.The second part goes into the Tujia nationality and conducts in-depth research on the historical origin and connotation of Tujia brocade and the research value and artistic characteristics of Tujia brocade.The third part combines Tujia brocade and costumes.First,it explains the relationship between clothing and clothing.Then it classifies the products according to performance and materials,and finds better development space by investigating the existing Tujia brocade brand.The fourth part comprehensively introduces the feasibility,use value,application ideas and craftsmanship of the use of Tujia brocade patterns in the design of knitted apparel.The fifth part is to apply the Tujia brocade pattern to the design of knitted apparel,and to explain the design practice,which includes the source of inspiration,the theme color extraction,theproduction process,and the presentation of the finished product details.The sixth part is to summarize the shortcomings and prospects of this graduation project.A total of107 drawing,12 Tables,Atotal of 50 references.
