Studies On The Corrosion Inhibitor Of AA5083 Aluminum Alloy In Hydrochloric Acid

With the rapid development of economic,people increase their awareness of environmental protection.Green corrosion inhibitor has aroused great interest for people.Vitamin B1?VB1?pill is used as a friendly and environmental corrosion inhibitor,which can reduce the cost of disposal of waste,and which can be maximized resource utilization.This paper focuses two aspects.On one hand,the property and mechanism of VB1pills was studied in pH=1 hydrochloric acid solution by weight loss,polarization curve and EIS measurement.The results show that adding VB1 pills can slow down the corrosion rate of aluminium alloy?AA5083?,and the corrosion inhibition of AA5083increases with the concentration of Vitamin B1 pills.When the medium temperature is15?,the corrosion inhibition efficiency arrives at 87.85%with 6.67 g/L VB1 pills.The polarization curves and EIS tests have the same trend with the results from weight loss.Based on the calculation and analysis of standard adsorption Gibbs free energy?G^?_adsds and reactive activation energy E_a,the VB1 pills obeys the Langmuir adsorption isotherm and belongs to a mixture of physical and chemical adsorption.The results of SEM and AFM show the inhibitor can make the surface of aluminum alloy smooth,which confirm the corrosion inhibition of VB1 pills.To further improve the corrosion inhibition of the corrosion inhibitor,ammonium citrate was used as a compound corrosion inhibitor.It was found ammonium citrate can improve the corrosion inhibition efficiency of VB1 pills.When the concentration of ammonium citrate is 5mM,it reaches the highest corrosion inhibition efficiency 93.28%.Thiourea has a good synergistic effect with VB1 pill,which can fill the gap of VB1 pill adsorption film,to protect aluminum alloy from reacting with the medium.
