In this paper,four chiral mesoporous silica columns were studied.The main contents include the following:First,chirality,optical resolution,separation method,enantioselective stationary phase,and chiral high performance liquid chromatography?HPLC?were introduced.Preparation and application of chiral mesoporous silicon materials were briefly described.Secondly,the hexagonal prismatic chiral mesoporous silicon?CMS1?was prepared by soft template method using C14-D-Phe anionic surfactant synthesized under certain conditions as template.The chromatographic column was applied to HPLC to separate chiral compounds and benzene positional isomers.The experimental results show that the CMS1 column has recognition characteristic on the chiral compound and positional isomer,and its stability is good,so the material can be used for chiral resolution.Thirdly,the C14-L-Phg anionic surfactant synthesized by L-phenylglycine was used to prepare chiral mesoporous silicon.The chromatographic column could separate chiral compounds and benzene-based positional isomers.The effects of temperature,injection volume and other factors on the column were also investigated.Fourthly,the chiral mesoporous silicon from anionic surfactant C14-L-Pro was synthesized to prepare chiral column,this HPLC column possessed enantioselective ability.Finally,according to above method,prepared chiral mesoporous silicon with C14-L-Iso was used for HPLC to separate racemates,too.
