In order to break through the production limit of the conventional lift method,to meet the requirements of deep well production and to fully exploit the potential of oil wells, this paper presented the ESP-ESP,GL-ESP combined relay lift methods.By researching the relationship between oil inflow dynamics,multi-phase flow characteristics, the kinematics and dynamics of lift process, and the relationship of energy interaction between them, this paper established mathematical coupling models for the ESP-ESP and GL-ESP system, carried out the research on the method for production parameters design and adjustment, formed the production parameters design solution aiming at improving the production and system efficiency, and the operating parameters adjustment solution aiming at the production optimization, compiled the corresponding software. The calculation of an offshore oil well showed that combined system could increase production rate and fully realize the potential of oil well, greatly reduce the motor power and save energy, achieve the production goal that ESP and GL system could not achieve when the reservoir pressure decreased. When the combined lift system was inefficient, the collected production dynamic data could be used to analyze working conditions and adjust the operating parameters, through that way, this paper could intelligently provide the frequency-oil pressure adjustment solution for ESP-ESP system and the frequency-gas injection adjustment solution for GL-ESP system to realize the coordination of the reservoir, wellbore, and lift equipment, and achieve efficient operation of the system without moving the column.
