Pipeline delivery is the main mode of oil and gas transportation. Its main advantages are: low cost, large amount of transportation, good safety, less impact by the external environment, smaller pollution to the environment, and convenience in transportation and management.Buried pipelines has a large proportion in the transportation of refined oil pipelines. When a buried pipeline leaks due to various reasons such as corrosion, aging,or third-party damage,if the leak position would not be discovered timely and the leakage could not be estimated accurately, the efficiency of rescue time and consequent processing will be reduced greatly. Therefore,it is significance to study the law of leakage and diffusion of products pipelines for risk assessment and leak rescue. This thesis focuses on the study of the leakage diffusion law of buried product pipelines.Taking various influencing factors, especially the impact of multi-layer soil, into consideration, the thesis established a two-dimensional model of the leakage and diffusion of buried oil product pipelines with FLUENT software.By numerical simulation analysis,a rapid estimation formula for the leakage rate and the law of diffusion are obtained.(1)A finite element model for the leakage rate of buried product pipelines is established to analyze the influence of pipeline internal pressure, leakage aperture, and soil porosity on the leakage rate of buried product pipelines.Through the fitting of the calculation results, the relationship formula between the leakage rate and the three main influencing factors is obtained.(2)Considering the nature of the backfill soil and the location of the leakage hole,a finite element model for the leakage diffusion of the multilayered buried oil product pipeline is established.Comparing with the experimental results to verify the validity of the model, research the influence rule of the porosity of the multilayered soil and leakage hole position on the diffusion law of the refined oil after leakage.
