Coalbed methane,also known as coal seam gas,exists in the coal seam in the adsorption state as a gas energy source co-existing with coal.Coalbed methane gas is mainly composed of methane,and its content is as high as 96%.The exploitation and utilization of coalbed methane can not only greatly reduce the safety risk of coal mining,but also reduce air pollution and play a good role in protecting the atmospheric environment.Ordos basin is an important coal-bearing unit in China.It has many coal seams,large and stable thickness,high coal metamorphic degree,high gas content in coal seams,and abundant coalbed methane resources,providing an important resource base for the development of coalbed methane.The research area is located in the east margin of ordos basin,the main working bed for shanxi group 3 + 4,5,8 + 9 and taiyuan group,coal body structure is given priority to with cataclastic coal and raw coal,roof and floor of coal seam of shanxi formation lithology is given priority to with carbonaceous shale and siltstone,coal seam roof and floor a limestone of taiyuan group is given priority to,roof and floor dense lithology for coalbed methane rich provides a very good protection effect.Coal seam fissure development,high permeability,for the coal bed methane mining provides a favorable channel,in addition to the coal seam buried depth is moderate,gas content is high,the study area coal bed methane development potential is huge.This article widely research in coalfield drilling information collection,CBM well drilling,well logging,mud logging,test data,data on the summary,on the basis of comprehensive analysis,through data processing and preparation of thematic maps,study of coal-bed methane distribution law,optimizing areas favorable for development in the study area and evaluate the development way.Through the comprehensive analysis of the geological parameters of the study area,the resource abundance was divided,the favorable development area of the study area was optimized,and the overall development sequence of the study area was determined as east to west and north to south.In view of the complex engineering technology,long completion cycle and low engineering efficiency of multi-branch horizontal Wells,the branch of horizontal Wells was optimized and adjusted,and the drilling and completion method of single-branch horizontal Wells was adopted.By tracking fracturing methods and optimizing fracturing parameters,it provides a technical basis for CBM development in the research area.
