Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant is the first tens of billions of high-sulfur natural gas purification plants in China.The raw natural gas processed contains a large amount of acidic media such as H2S and CO2.The corrosive environment is bad,which may lead to perforation and rupture of equipment,which may cause fire,explosion and other secondary.Disasters,their eeonomic losses and social impacts cannot be estimated.The Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant adopts the BV process package.The main indicators have reached or are close to the foreign advanced level,but there are still gaps in the corrosion control indicators with foreign countries,and there is not much experience to be learned from the high-sulfur natural gas purification and corrosion protection in China.Since the start of production,there have been many corrosion leakage problems in equipment and pipelines,especially as the equipment runs to the middle and late stages,corrosion problems will become an important factor affecting the safe production of natural gas purification equipment.This paper mainly studies the corrosion influencing factors and control technologies of the purification equipment of Puguang Natural Gas Purification Plant.Through the collection and analysis of the relevant technology of the purification equipment of the Puguang purification plant,online corrosion monitoring data and other related data,the corrosion type of each unit of the purification device was analyzed with the corrosion medium in the device as the main line,and the key corrosion sites and corrosion types of the purification device were determined.Through on-site corrosion investigation of corrosion equipment during maintenance,and simultaneous collection of corrosion and fouling pieces,physical and chemical inspection and analysis,the corresponding corrosion behavior research was carried out,and the corrosion influencing factors of main corrosion sites were obtained,and corresponding corresponding Corrosion control strategy.According to the corrosion control strategy,the corrosion control technology of the purification device is studied.The existing process parameters were adjusted in combination with the factors affecting corrosion.A special study on the corrosion repair of towers was carried out in view of the fact that the tower was easy to corrode and the risk was high after corrosion.In view of the unreasonable design of some equipments and pipelines,research on equipment and pipeline renewal and transformation is carried out.Through research,the key corrosion sites and corrosion types of the purification device were determined,and the main influencing factors of the corrosion of the amine liquid system,sulfur recovery,tail gas treatment and acid water stripping were summarized,which provided the decision basis for the corrosion monitoring and control of the purification device.The corrosion control technology of the purifying device of Puguang Purification Plant was put forward.Corrosion eontrol measures were comprehensively adopted from the aspects of adjusting process parameters,defect equipment repair and material upgrading,which effectively improved the corrosion control level of the purification device and ensured the long-term safety and high efficiency of the high-sulfur purification device.Operation,it has important reference and guiding significance for the corrosion control of similar devices in China.
