With the rapid development of petroleum and chemical industries,design and manufacture of hydrogenation reaction pressure vessels have been paid increasing attention by researchers.However,the current design and analysis method of hydrogenation reactors are mainly done manually by engineering experience,and the structural size of the design process is large in order to prevent safety accidents,which leads to low production efficiency and high cost of hydrocracking reactor.In response to this problem,the background to this paper is China's heavy 60,000 tons/year rubber filling oil production project.Structural design and optimization of hydrogenation reactor are based on the idea of finite element analysis and optimization design.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the given design specifications,including working pressure,temperature,and operating medium and refer to the design specifications for pressure vessel to design the structure of pressure vessel.According to the cylinder structure,control accuracy design of the cylinder circumference deviation,roundness,butt joint misalignment,edge angle and straightness is carried out to meet the design requirements.(2)Based on the idea of optimized design,the pressure vessel quality is optimized,and the pressure vessel geometry is optimized under the premise of satisfying the pressure vessel strength;optimization mathematical model of the high pressure vessel is established,and the optimization design program is compiled with the nonlinear constraint minimum optimization tool of MATLAB,and the structural dimension of the high pressure vessel is determined.(3)Based on the finite element theory(FEM),the actual situation of the hydrogenation reactor is simulated by using the finite element ANSYS software,and the distribution of deformation/stress/strain is well obtained,which provides a numerical simulation method for the strength check of the hydrogenation reactor,and can play a certain reference role in the design and check of the hydrogenation reactor.(4)Based on the calculation standard of tower container,the strength of key structural parts are calculated and verified such as pressure vessel cylinder,upper and lower sealing head,inlet and outlet flange;The results of finite element analysis and strength calculation show that the design and analysis method of hydrogenation reaction pressure vessel proposed in this paper are effective,and the designed pressure vessel meets the requirements of design indicators.
