The calendering process is a key process in the plasticization process of double-base propellant and modified double-base propellant in energetic materials,which determines the final plasticizing quality of the propellant.In-line detection of the degree of plasticization of the propellant during the calendering process can avoid whether it is poor plasticized or excessive plasticized,which is of great significance for improving the plasticizing quality of the propellant.The subject chooses alternative materials with similar plasticization principle in place of propellant.The off-line sampling method is used to investigate how the material's tensile strength,ultrasonic echo amplitude and color of the substitute sample change with the increase of the calendering time.A method of characterizing the degree of plasticization by color values and the ultrasonic amplitude is established.The main research is as follows:(1)The sample of the substitute was tested by ultrasonic double crystal probe,and the variation of the amplitude of the echo ultrasonic with the calendering time was analyzed.The ultrasonic method and SEM were used to investigate the reason why the amplitude of the ultrasonic wave attenuation of the sample decreased with the increase of the calendering time.According to the tensile strength of the samples,the plasticizing quality of the materials was judged,and a method of judging the plasticizing quality of the materials by the amplitude of the ultrasonic wave was established and the feasibility of this method is verified by repeated experiments.(2)The color of the samples were measured by Datacolor 850 spectrophotometer.The plasticizing quality of the materials was judged according to the tensile strength of the samples,and a method of judging the plasticizing quality of the materials by the CIELab color was established and the feasibility of this method is verified by repeated experiments.(3)The correlation between the value of CIELab color,the amplitude of the ultrasonic wave and the degree of plasticization evaluated by the tensile strength is analyzed by the Pearson correlation coefficient and the Spearman correlation coefficient.According to the analysis results,The least-square method and Multiple linear regression method were used to establish a predictive model of the degree of plasticization,and the prediction accuracy of the two models was analyzed.
