With the continuous innovation of polymerization methods, especially the continuous development of controlled polymerization methods,it is more and more easy for us to design and synthesize highly functional polymers with precise and complex structures.Brush-like polymers containing the main polymer chains and vertical secondary side chains are increasingly endowed with a variety of functions due to their unique structure. The main contents of this paper are as follows:A series of initiators and chain transfer agents for ATRP and RAFT were synthesized by chemical modification of cis-5-Norbomene-endo-2,3-dicarboxylic anhydride. On this basis,a series of macromonomers with controllable molecular weight and low molecular weight distribution, including polystyrene(PS),polytert-butyl acrylate(PtBA)and other homopolymers were synthesized by controlled radical polymerization, including ATRP and RAFT.The types of simple brush-like copolymer with uniform molecular weight distribution were then synthesized by Ring-opening Metathesis polymerization(ROMP)of macromonomers. In addition, three different synthetic strategies, namely Grafting-through,Grafting-onto and Grafting-from,were used to synthesize a series of brush-like polymers with different structures and different compositions by esterification, continuous ROMP reaction, copper(?)catalyzed azido-alkynyl cycloaddition(CuAAC)reaction and continuous ATRP reaction. These include brush-like block copolymers,core-shell brush polymers and coronal brush polymers. Finally, the process of reactive polymerization was explored, and the properties of brush polymers with different structures and different types, including structure characterization and morphology characterization, were studied. This work provides a reference for subsequent polymer design and synthesis, and has potential application value as a building block for macromolecule assembly and template for inorganic material synthesis.
