Polished glazed tiles have the advantages of antique bricks and polished bricks due to their rich patterns, colorful colors and bright and smooth surfaces. In recent years, they have been favored by the industry and consumers, and are widely used in interior decoration.Polished glazed tiles need to be polished on the surface during the preparation process, which will produce a large amount of polishing glaze waste.Polishing glaze waste contains high-temperature foaming components such as Si C?loss from the polishing head?due to the production process,so when used as a raw material for the production of the green body,it will affect the performance of the green body. This paper explores the feasibility of preparing ceramic tiles with high content of glazed waste, and studies in detail the effect of glazed waste on the sintering behavior and properties of the green body. The resource utilization of polishing glaze waste can save the production cost of enterprises, but also have a very important meaning to solve the pollution problem of ceramic solid waste and realize the recycling of resources.First,XRF,XRD,SEM and other technical methods were used to characterize and analyze the polishing glaze waste. The results show that the chemical composition of the polishing glaze waste is between the glazed and body, the main crystal phase is quartz crystalline phase, and contains a small amount of Si C crystalline phase and magnesium oxychloride cement crystalline phase, indicating that the polishing glaze waste is a mixture of glazed waste and brick edging waste. The particles of the polishing glaze waste are fine, with an average particle size of about 24.7 ?m.The pure glaze-casting waste material starts to foam after being heated to 1050 °C.These studies have shown that polishing glaze waste can be used as a raw material in ceramic tile green body, but it is necessary to control its foaming phenomenon at high temperatures.Secondly, the effect of the amount of polishing glaze waste added on the phase composition, microstructure and properties of the green body under the same chemical composition system was studied. The addition of polishing glaze waste has no effect on the crystal phase of the green body, but it will significantly affect the sintering behavior of the green body.Physical and chemical performance tests show that when the firing temperature ?1100 °C,with the increase of polishing glaze waste, the water absorption rate of the green body decreases, shrinkage increases, and the bulk density increases, indicating that the polishing glaze waste at low temperature can promote the sintering of the green body. However, when the firing temperature is greater than 1100 °C,the bulk density of the green body decreases with the increase of polishing glaze waste.Thirdly, due to the special polishing process of polished glazed tiles, the Si C introduced by the grinding head may be wrapped or contacted by the ground glaze composition,so the influence of the common flux oxide frit matrix in the body on the corrosion decomposition of Si C was discussed law.The inhibitory effect of flux oxide on the sintering and foaming of the sample is Ca O> Mg O> K2O> Na2 O.Finally,by optimizing the formulation and process parameters,a ceramic tiles green body with high waste content and excellent performance was successfully prepared under the condition of low temperature and fast firing. The optimal formula obtained is: polishing glaze waste 30wt%,kaolin 26wt%,quartz 13wt%,potash feldspar 23wt%,albite 7wt%,wollastonite 5wt%,burnt talc 0.3wt%.The best process conditions are: molding pressure 10 MPa,firing temperature 1150 °C,heating rate 20 °C/min,holding time 20 min.The follow-up will be based on this, using the raw materials of the ceramic enterprise to apply the polishing glaze waste in the production.
