In view of the increasing demand for natural gas,in order to better mine and transport natural gas,it is particularly important to study the dehydration of natural gas.The cyclone separator is widely used in the field of natural gas dehydration as an efficient separation equipment.Based on the theoretical research of the gas-liquid cyclone separator,this paper designs a new type of cyclone separator-spiral flow channel cyclone separator,and conducts numerical simulation research on this cyclone separator.The main research conclusions are as follows:(1)Based on a large number of theoretical researches,the structural dimensions and operating conditions of the initial spiral flow channel cyclone separator were determined,and the initial separator model was established using Solidworks.(2)Use FLUENT software to select the appropriate model to simulate the gas-phase flow field and gas-liquid two-phase flow field of the spiral flow channel cyclone separator respectively.By studying the fluid motion form,velocity distribution,pressure distribution and gas-liquid volume distribution obtained by numerical simulation,the relevant laws of the flow field of this cyclone separator are understood.(3)Based on the initial model of spiral flow channel cyclone separator,under the condition that the operating parameters remain unchanged,the effect of structural parameters of separator on the separation efficiency and pressure drop was studied.The conclusions drawn are: As the number of spiral turns increases,the separation efficiency and pressure drop of the separator increase;as the spiral cone angle increases,the separation efficiency of the separator decreases continuously and the pressure drop is constantly increasing;as the diameter of the overflow port increases,the separation efficiency of the separator first increases and then decreases,and the pressure drop is continuously decreasing;as the insertion depth of overflow pipe increases,the separation efficiency of the spiral cyclone separator increases,but when the depth of the overflow pipe increases to a certain degree,the efficiency will hardly change,and the pressure drop will continue to increase.(4)Based on the initial spiral flow channel cyclone separator model,under the conditionthat the structural parameters are unchanged,the influence of the inlet parameter change on the separation efficiency and pressure drop of the separator is studied.The conclusions drawn are:As the inlet speed continues to increase,the separation efficiency and pressure drop of the spiral cyclone separator are increasing.Through the above research,it provides a reference for the future theoretical research and further structural optimization of the spiral flow channel cyclone separator.
