In order to optimize the cyclone separation tube structure and improve the separationefficiency further, and simultaneously satisfy the separation performance requirements of thenatural gas purification for the current offshore oil and gas field extraction, this paper select todesign an efficient guide vane type cyclone separator with the purpose of solving the problemsof natural gas extraction and purification on the offshore oil and gas field,and make a numericalsimulation and experimental study for it. The numerical simulation study should be conductedfor the three-phase cyclone separation of the guide vane type cyclone separation tube inner byFLUENT software, this includes the airflow field study、the numerical simulation of gas solidand gas liquid separation in the tube;then bases on the literature research、numerical simulationand experimental measurement, to making a study for the regular pattern about gas、liquid andsolid three-phase flow in the tube. The specific study contents are as follows:1) Making a theory analysis for the several common separation technologies about thenatural gas purification. According to the advantages and disadvantages of the separationtechnologies, and the major advantages of the guide vane type cyclone separation, determinethe main target parameter values of study:1、Capable to remove the solid particles over8μmand the liquid drop over5μm in the design flow rate range;2、In the low pressure condition, thepressure drop should be under25KPa.2) Through the establishment of the guide vane cyclone separation tube numerical model,capable to making a study for the regular pattern of gas-liquid two-phase flow and gas-solidtwo-phase flow, finally achieve the optimization of cyclone tube structure. In the same time thenumerical simulation should be carried on by actual condition simulating. In the singlenumerical simulation, it should be considered to solve the problem of the natural gas "entraining " the impurities to the downstream, the focus is resolving the contradiction ofimproving the separation efficiency and reducing the pressure resistance, then find out thecyclone separation rule.3) Experimental study and analysis: Through the guide vane type cyclone separation tubegas solid separation experiment、gas liquid separation experiment、gas phase flow field test andthe multiple combination separation experiment and study, to verify the accuracy and reliabilityof numerical simulation calculation.
