Most papermaking raw materials in China are mainly grass-based fibers,which results in insufficient strength of paper products.Adding wet strength agents to papermaking can significantly improve the strength properties of paper products.Wet strength agents also have many deficiencies,such as small molecular weight and carcinogenic substances.In response to this deficiency,this article did the following research.Adipate,di ethy len etr i amine as monomer,trimethylolpropane as cross-linking agent,?-(2,3-glycidoxy)propyltrimethoxysilane as modifier,carboxymethyl fiber As a retention aid,a new chlorine-free high-branched wet strength agent PAET was prepared.The relationship between the amount of PAET added and the Zeta potential and its adsorption behavior were studied;the structure,molecular weight,stability,and viscosity were obtained through infrared,molecular weight,stability,viscosity and other tests;the paper was made tensile and folding resistant,Water resistance,thermal stability and other tests,discussed the optimal intermediate viscosity,temperature and the amount of TMP and KH560 for synthetic PAET,compared the content of fine fibers,and observed the fiber distribution and morphological characteristics.The results show that the relative molecular mass and average particle diameter of PAET are 9376 and 921.4 nm.There was a positive correlation between the amount of PAET added and the zeta potential on the fiber surface,and a negative correlation with the amount of PAET added.When the viscosity of the intermediate is 330 mPa·s and the reaction temperature is 70?,the PAET has the best moisture and tensile retention,reaching 25.3%.When TMP and KH560 are added at 0.7%and 0.2%,respectively,the paper is wet Tensile strength reached the best,with an increase of 46.7%and 38.2%.When the amount of wet strength agent was 0.9%,the folding resistance of the paper reached the best,an increase of 78.6%,and the amount of thermal residue of the PAET-treated paper increased.74.44%,SEM electronic scanning results show that the fiber drawing is reduced,the fiber adhesion is improved,the fracture surface is relatively flat,the contact angle of the paper pattern is increased from 7 ° to 34°,and the water resistance of the paper is improved.In terms of length,the content of fine fibers increased by 133.55%,and in area,the content of fine fibers increased by 177.37%.Using dimethyldiallylammonium chloride and acrylamide as monomers,y-methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane as modifier,and glyoxal as crosslinking agent,blended with PAET resin A high molecular weight composite wet strength agent GPAM-PAET was prepared by compounding.Through infrared,viscosity,and stability tests,the structure,viscosity,and stability indicators were obtained.The paper was tested for tensile,folding,tearing,and tear resistance properties.The amount of wet strength agent added to the paper sample was discussed.The effects of tensile,fold-resistance,tear-resistance,and tear properties were analyzed.The variation of PAET content and its zeta potential,Cobb value,and thermal stability were analyzed.The fiber morphology and fine fiber distribution in different wet strength agent paper samples were observed.The results show that when the amount of initiator is 0.3%and the temperature is 70?,the best performance sample GPAM-PAET is synthesized.When the amount is 1%and the PAET content is 43%,the dry and wet tensile index reaches the maximum.The values are 43.08 N·m/g and 13.96 N·m/g,which are increased by 153.8%and 65.7%.The folding resistance,tear resistance,and tearing index show a maximum value of 1116 when the addition amount is 1.3%,1%,and 1.25%,respectively Times,7.34 kPa·m2/g,14.5 mN·m2/g,which increased by 36.4%,5.7%,and 9.8%,respectively.It is known from SEM that the paper surface has smaller voids,less cross-section drawing,and improved fiber adhesion.When the PAET content is 43%,the paper sample has the best water resistance,reaching 52.7 g/m2.In terms of length,the content of fine fibers was increased by 128.12%,and in terms of area,the content of fine fibers was increased by 176.46%.
