The warping deformation not only affects the appearance of the product,but also makes it impossible to use properly.This problem is more obvious in the forming process of thin-wall plastic parts.Compared with ordinary plastic parts,thin-walled plastic parts require higher injection pressure due to their small wall thickness,so the flow behavior of high-temperature melt in this process is more difficult to predict and the molding process is more complex compared with conventional injection molding.Taking a thin-wall plastic part as an example,this paper studied the buckling deformation problem in the process of forming thin-wall plastic parts,studied the influence of injection molding process parameters and mold structure on it by using orthogonal experiment and CAE technology,and optimized the relevant influencing factors based on the simulation results.The main contents are as follows:Moldflow software was used to simulate the molding process of the plastic parts,the influence of technological parameters on the bending deformation of the plastic parts was studied,and the orthogonal experiment was used to optimize it,and a set of molding process parameters that made the deformation of the plastic parts significantly reduced were obtained.The thermal coupling analysis of the injection molding process of thin-wall plastic parts was carried out with ANSYS software,and the distribution of temperature field and the thermal deformation of mold core and cavity were studied under the condition of cooling system and no cooling system respectively,which provided a basis for the optimization of mold cooling system.Considering the influence of molding process parameters and mold structure on the buckling deformation of thin-wall plastic parts,the experimental scheme was designed according to the optimization objective,and the simulation analysis of the experimental process was carried out with Moldflow software.Based on the analysis of the experimental results,the optimization of molding process parameters is realized.The wall thickness of thin-walled plastic parts is small,the forming process of plastic parts is carried out under the condition of high temperature and high pressure,and the flow behavior of high-temperature melt is difficult to predict accurately.Too high mold cavity temperature will lead to mold deformation,and then aggravate the problem of plastic warping deformation,so it is necessary to study the influence of mold cavity temperature field on plastic warping.The thermal coupling analysis of the mold was carried out with ANSYS,and the mold structure was optimized based on the experimental results.The heat distribution of the mold cavity after optimization was more reasonable,the thermal deformation of the mold core and mold cavity was reduced,and the deformation of the mold was significantly reduced.
