With the development of social science and technology, the production of bearings and gear transmission devices with high parameters, high precision and high reliability are the key points of the development of key basic parts in China. In order to manufacture key parts with long life and high reliability, academician Zhenye Zhao proposed the anti-fatigue manufacturing technology of "no stress concentration",the larger the stress concentration coefficient is,the smaller the fatigue life is,and the roughness value of the surface of parts is positively correlated with the stress concentration coefficient.18 Cr Ni Mo7-6 steel,as a high-strength alloy steel,is widely used in various industrial parts, such as bearings,gears,shafts,etc.V-grooved part is a kind of parts with complex structure, the high finish surface of the bottom of the groove can not be processed by traditional grinding technology.Magnetic abrasive finishing,as a new finishing technology, can grind various parts with complex shapes due to its good adaptability and flexibility. Therefore,it is of great significance to study the process parameters that affect the surface roughness of V-grooved bottom of 18 Cr Ni Mo7-6 steel. The main research contents of this paper are as follows:(1)The force of magnetic abrasive particles in the process of magnetic abrasive finishing and the material removal mechanism of magnetic abrasive finishing were analyzed;(2)Through the manipulation of CNC lathe,CNC grinder and tool grinder to prepare V-grooved specimens, and explore the technology of grinding v-grooved specimens in the process of specimens making;(3)Maxwell simulation software was used to conduct two-dimensional and three-dimensional simulation analysis of the three types of magnetic poles, the pole shape which is most suitable for magnetic abrasive finishing of V-grooved specimen was selected through the test;(4)The influence of main process parameters on the surface morphology ofV-grooved specimens of 18 Cr Ni Mo7-6 steel by magnetic abrasive finishing was studied through mixed orthogonal experiment, and the combination of process parameters with lower value of surface roughness was obtained.Through the above theoretical analysis, simulation design and experimental research, the force formula of magnetic abrasive particles in the magnetic grinding process, the grinding process of the V-grooved of the specimen have been obtained. The appropriate shape of magnetic pole and the better combination of process parameters for magnetic abrasive finishing have been also obtained.
