The earliest papers in China were made of hemp as the main raw material.The hemp paper are mainly made of hemp and is one of the ancient book printing papers.Before the Eastern Han Dynasty,the paper was of poor quality and lacked processing technology.The emergence of handmade hemp paper is undoubtedly an excellent traditional folk craftsmanship.It is a precious and intangible cultural heritage by people from Jiade in the long social development.Jiade's handmade hemp paper? s development means the historical progress of Jiade Village.On June 11,2011,?Jiade Handicraft Hemp Paper Technology" was awarded as the third batch of provincial intangible cultural heritage in Shanxi Province.On September 3,three artists: Lu Xiwan,Guo Xiaobao and Guo Gangmin,who were good at making paper crafts,were selected as "representative successors of Jiade Handicraft Hemp Paper Technology".Jiade's hand-made hemp paper has developed for a long time.According to the history of Wei Hou dynasty in the age of 47,Jiade hemp paper came out.In the old society,the use of hemp paper was very extensive.Apart from writing documents,the most extensive use was to paste windows.It was conceivable that the amount of linen paper could not be replaced by other papers.However,due to the changes in the social environment,the lack of the inheritors,and the impact of modern technology,this excellent craftsmanship is gradually declining,facing the test of being on the verge of being lost,and the successors are also facing no inheritors.Traditional folk craftsmanship is facing great challenges,so it is urgent to protect this intangible cultural heritage project.Therefore,the author takes the inheritor and protection of handmade hemp paper in Jiade,Shanxi Province as the breakthrough,trying to arouse the whole society's focus by the combination of field investigation and literatureThis paper focus on the manual hemp paper of Jiade Village,Linfen City,Shanxi Province,and records and sorts out the manual hemp paper craft process and technical inheritance of the hand-made hemp paper through the field investigation and relevant literature.The paper is from four parts.The first part is an overview of the geographical environment,historical and cultural background and production process of Jiade Village.the second part is about the inheritors,inheritance mode and inheritance methods of Jiade hemp paper technology;The third part is mainly about the inheritance dilemma of Jiade handmade hemp paper technology and the analysis of the causes of the dilemma.The last part is about the current Jiade manual hemp paper craft and the dilemma faced by the inheritor.From the basis of intangible cultural heritage protection,this paper contributes some strategies to the protection of Jiade's handmade hemp paper craftsmanship.It is of great significance to effectively protect this intangible cultural heritage and its inheritors.By the study of the inheritance and protection of Jiade paper craftsmanship,it is believed to better protect this traditional handicraft which is on the verge of being lost,and it can make a little contribution to the handicraft for the development with new vitality and adding new relevant researches.From the research of Jiade handmade hemp paper skills,on the one hand,it makes up for the people vacancies for inheriting the hemp paper,and on the other hand,it also hopes to make contribution to the cultural construction in the hometown.
