Carbon fiber/epoxy matrix composites are widely used in aerospace and other fields due to their excellent mechanical properties and lighter weight.However,the low production efficiency and the consequent cost problems have become one of the key factors restricting its large-scale application in civil fields such as automobiles,wind power generation and sports equipment.The application of fiber-matched rapid curing epoxy resin system is an important solution for the efficient production of carbon fiber composite.Although some commercial rapid curing resin products have been continuously introduced in recent years,the mechanism research on the rapid curing reaction of resins is relatively rare.In this paper,the hydroxyl group present in the curing reaction of epoxy resin was used to explore the effect of hydroxyl group on the curing reaction of epoxy resin by introducing micromolecular alcohol.Firstly,the influence of micromolecule alcohol on the curing reaction of epoxy resin system was explored qualitatively and quantitatively by DSC characterization method,which proved that micromolecule polyol is a good accelerator for epoxy/amine system.The epoxy/amine/micromolecule polyol system has both fast curing rate and excellent comprehensive performance.It has good performance when preparing composite materials with carbon fiber,thus can be used as a rapid curing epoxy resin system for fibers;Next,the curing behavior of the epoxy/amine/micromolecule polyol system was studied by curing kinetics with the bifunctional epoxy resin bisphenol A diglycidyl ether(DGEBA)and the aromatic amine curing agent diethyl toluene diamine(DETDA)was used as a reference system.The Kissinger-Akahira-Sunose(KAS)equation of non-model fitting method revealed the change of curing rate of DGEBA/DETDA system after C2H6O2 addition.The influence mechanism of C2H6O2 was proposed.In addition,Curing behavior of epoxy/amine system as microolecule polyols and imidazole molecules was compounded to accelerate was studied.It was revealed that after C2H6O2 and 2-ethyl-4-methylimidazole(EMI)were compounded into DGEBA/DETDA system,The rate of curing reaction of the system is further accelerated.The KAS equation demonstrates a phased change in the cure rate of the system.Plotting the time-temperature-transition diagram(TTT diagram)provides technical guidance on the actual production of different systems.
