Emtional Seat Design For Pregnant Women

With the opening of the national two-child policy,the country is about to reach a new baby boom,and pregnant women have become a group of concern in today's society.However,most of the maternal and infant products on the market only focus on the physiological characteristics of the fetus,and there are few products for pregnant women,ignoring the real needs of women in pregnancy.Since women have different physiological and psychological needs for furniture seats at different stages of pregnancy,it is an important subject for designers to design furniture seats that meet the needs of pregnant women.This subject will start from the theory of emotional dimension,discussing the concept of modern seat design from the perspective of pregnant women needs,and make links between the demand of pregnant women and seat design.Firstly,through literature research,analyzing the physiological and psychological characteristics of pregnant women,and then summarizing the product design rules of the characteristics of women in different pregnancy stages.The paper analyzes the visual,tactile,emotional and behavioral characteristics of pregnant women to understand the design status and requirements through interviews and surveys,character interviews and questionnaires.Secondly,on the basis of the theory of emotional design,to product emotion model and Norman demand level as the main basis of emotional design,through to the pregnant women experiments,physical and psychological preference clear women during pregnancy to seat modelling,colour,material three aspects of the psychological preferences,reflect the importance of emotional during pregnancy seat design.Combined with excellent design cases to analyze its design philosophy,summed up for pregnant women demand seat design principles.The psychological feelings of safety,comfort and interactivity during the interaction between pregnant women and seats are emphasized.Finally,the feasibility of emotional theory and the scientific of seat design for pregnant women are verified through design practice.And hope to provide new ideas and new methods for the development of female furniture design.The research results of this paper provide reference value for the design of female seats in pregnancy,lay a foundation for the design of emotional furniture for women in a specific stage,provide certain reference for the design and research work of similar furniture products,and help them research and develop more excellent female furniture design.
