| How to express Chinese traditional culture in a modern way has always been an important subject.This article explores this subject from the perspective of color matching.The Chinese nation attaches great importance to color in all dynasties.It can be said that no country has been so deeply influenced by the "color concept" like China,in all aspects of cultural,political,and economic historical processes.For thousands of years,the visual experience delivered to the Chinese by traditional Chinese color matching schemes has been deeply ingrained,and many typical color schemes have even been given special emotions and meanings themselves.China's traditional color concept has its unique philosophical foundation,which has run through the production and life of the Chinese nation for thousands of years.It takes the Five-Colour-Outlook as the core and is related to the feudal hierarchical concept.Although it has changed into a variety of forms,it is still invariable.At the same time,different from the common color names,many Chinese traditional colors have unique and beautiful color names,such as ultramarine,green lotus,reddish blue and so on.These poetic names are an important embodiment of traditional culture in color matching,and also give new inspiration to modern jewelry designers.The traditional Chinese color scheme is not an independent scheme,but a very grand system.This paper selects several representative cases for analysis and research: official and folk architecture,Dunhuang frescoes,porcelain,dyed fabrics,calligraphy,and painting.It can be divided into three major sections: the color matching of traditional Chinese buildings,the color matching of traditional Chinese utensils,and the color matching of ancient Chinese paintings and calligraphy.In addition to the analysis of the intuitive color scheme of various traditional objects,this paper also explores and analyzes the traditional Chinese aesthetics embodied in the color matching.At the same time,this article further summarizes the way colors are presented on jewelry,the production process of various ways and their advantages and disadvantages.All kinds of reference schemes are put forward for the realization of jewelry designer's color scheme.By systematically combing and analyzing the color matching of traditional Chinese objects,the color matching scheme with Chinese charm is obtained.It provides a new idea for the combination of Chinese traditional culture and modern jewelry design,and proposes possible problems and future development directions in this way.At the end of the paper,I tried to apply this color scheme to my jewelry design. |
