The problems of mine environment and safety caused by tailings accumulation are increasingly prominent,which can effectively solve the problems caused by tailings accumulation.In this paper,a vanadium titanium magnetite tailing pond in Panxi is taken as the research object.Through the investigation of tailing pond resources,the recovery of valuable components?iron and titanium?,the preparation of porous ceramics from fine-grained tailing,and the preparation of construction sand from coarse-grained tailing,the multi-channel and high utilization rate of tailing is realized.?1?On the basis of the original topographic data of the tailings pond,this paper uses the parallel section method to calculate the tailings pond capacity of 3644958 cubic meters,with a reserve of 6560900 tons.Secondly,the chemical analysis method is used to analyze the grade of the valuable components?iron and titanium?of the sub dam and the dam surface,on this basis,the grade change trend of the valuable elements of the sub dam and the dam surface,the grade and average grade of the valuable elements in the coarse-grained area of the dam surface are determined Bit relationship.The TFe grade of sub dam fluctuates from17%to 19%,and the TiO2 grade fluctuates from 9%to 11%.The grade of TFe and TiO2 is higher in coarse-grained area and lower in fine-grained area.The farther away from the dam head,the lower the TFe and TiO2 grades.According to the change rule of storage capacity and valuable components,the iron content and titanium content in tailings pond are 1126500t and 645000 t respectively.?2?The main valuable components of tailings are magnetite and ilmenite,the main gangue minerals are amphibole,pyroxene and chlorite,and the overall particle size of tailings is relatively coarse,so grinding treatment is required before separation.Based on the mineralogical characteristics of tailings process,the magnetite in tailings can be recovered by wet tailing two stage grinding and beneficiation process,and the iron concentrate product with TFe content of 52.17%and TFe recovery rate of 40%can be obtained;the flotation feed with TiO2 grade of 17.33%can be obtained by grinding two stage strong magnetic enrichment of ilmenite;the flotation feed is subject to the closed-circuit test of"one roughing,two sweeping and four refining"The titanium concentrate with TiO2 grade of44.17%and recovery of 62.78%can be obtained.?3?In this paper,porous ceramics were prepared from-0.075 mm tailings,kaolin,quartz and waste glass with SiC as pore forming agent.The suitable raw material formula of porous ceramics is:tailing:Quartz:Kaolin:waste glass powder=50:10:15:25;the best firing process of porous ceramics is:sintering temperature 1170?,holding time 30 min,forming pressure 10 MPa,pore forming agent content 0.7 wt%.The porous ceramic products prepared by this preparation process have apparent porosity of 48%,flexural strength of 3.5MPa,bulk density of 0.92 g/cm3,thermal conductivity of 0.189 wm-1k-1,and conform to the general standard for porous ceramic products?GB/t16533-1996?.?4?Taking+0.075 mm tailings of re concentration and tailings of tail dumping as the object,according to the standard of construction sand?GB/t14684-2011?,the comprehensive evaluation of the preparation of construction sand from re concentration tailings is carried out from the particle grading,soundness,crushing index,content of harmful substances and other indicators.The results show that the coarse-grained tailings belong to fine sand,and all indexes meet the requirements of the standard of construction sand,so the tailings can be used as construction sand.
