With the popularization of electrical equipment using epoxy resin as the main insulating medium,the related problems of insulation degradation of epoxy resin have gradually received attention.Electrical equipment easily accumulates heat during long-term work,which causes degradation of the epoxy resin.At the same time,because epoxy resin is a non-recoverable material,there is irreversible insulation damage under multiple short-term overvoltages.However,due to the latent and long-term nature of the insulation aging of epoxy resins under such severe conditions such as thermal aging and short-term overvoltage,the research on this is not yet complete.So it is necessary to study the insulation characteristics of epoxy resin under high temperature and short-term overvoltage.This paper focuses on the analysis of epoxy resin insulation degradation under severe conditions,mainly from the perspective of high temperature and short-term overvoltage.The epoxy resin is subjected to thermal oxygen aging test and multiple short-term overvoltage accumulation tests to study epoxy resin.The insulation properties of resin materials under severe conditions,and the feasibility of using nano-SiO2 particles modified epoxy resin to improve its insulation ability under severe conditions was discussed.The relationship between the mass loss and the aging time is obtained through the research on the thermal oxygen aging of epoxy resin.The fitting equation can be used to accurately predict the service life of the epoxy resin under the condition of thermal oxidative aging;The parameters were tested and analyzed to obtain the change law of different insulation parameters with aging time.The FTIR found that a large number of main chain ether linkage breaks are an important cause of insulation failure;at the same time,SEM was found that with the increase of aging time,the number of particulate materials on the surface of the material increased,the radius size decreased,and the cracks increased,as the distance increases,the deterioration mechanism of epoxy resin is analyzed from a microscopic perspective.Aiming at the influence of short-term overvoltage on the insulation characteristics of epoxy resin,a lightning impulse voltage was used to carry out a withstand voltage test on the epoxy resin,and a lightning shock test platform was established.The U-N characteristic curve of epoxy resin under lightning impulse voltage and the change law of related insulation parameters were obtained.The feasibility of using nano-SiO2 particle modified epoxy resin to improve its insulation ability under harsh conditions was discussed preliminarily.The nano-SiO2particles were used to modify epoxy resin by analyzing from the perspective of improving dielectric properties and thermal stability.,When the content of nano-SiO2 is 3%,the electrical resistance of epoxy resin has been significantly improved.The research content of this article provides reference for the study of the insulation state and insulation degradation mechanism of epoxy resin under severe conditions,and the feasibility of improving the insulation capacity of epoxy resin under severe conditions was discussed preliminarily..
