Titanium alloy and quenched steel,high strength and ultra-high strength steel,stainless steel,high temperature alloy and composite materials are difficult to process materials.Titanium alloy has the advantages of low density,high strength and corrosion resistance,so it has been more and more widely used in the fields of aviation,aerospace,power generation equipment,nuclear energy,ship,chemical industry,medical equipment and so on.TC4 titanium alloy as the research object of high speed cutting machining titanium alloy,from knife-the large contact length,low thermal conductivity,chemical affinity,modulus of elasticity is small,titanium scrap flammable and the severity phenomenon of cold hard hard cutting,the cutting tool material,cutting tool geometry parameter and cutting dosage,cooling lubrication,selection of the clamping workpiece machining measures for practical engineering significance to the study and research.This topic to the mechanical properties of the titanium alloy TC4 specimens of ordinary lathe turning processing process improvement as a starting point,through the design of NC machining process and selection of cutting tool to make the numerical control turning processing scheme,using UG NX10.0 CAM processing modules of software modeling and software to design the 3D simulation of tool path,to rear the tool path generation of NC machine tools can identify the CNC program,try cutting processing in NC machine tools,to improve the production efficiency and product processing quality,reduce production cost and artificial labor intensity;Cutting through single factor experiment,the cutting of titanium alloy TC4 workability,was larger in the process of rough turning stage mainly use RPMW1003M0-NT round blade PVD coated carbide tool and 2 NU-35°VBGW160408 knife CBN cubic boron nitride cutting tools when machining titanium alloy TC4 research,the experiments of cutting parameters on cutting chip morphology of different cutting parameters and surface processing quality observation,comparison and analysis of the two kinds of cutter machinability of TC4 titanium alloy,It provides the technical reference and experience support for the improvement of TC4 and NC machining technology in titanium alloy turning.
