As an important basic material,plastics are mostly produced by extrusion process.Extruders are the core equipment for plastic extrusion lines.The segmented temperature control has a very direct and obvious influence on the appearance and mechanical properties of the product.Based on the investigation on the current situation of the extruder,especially on the characteristics of temperature control of PVC profile extrusion process.In this paper,the temperature control system based on fuzzy PID control theory was designed.Because of the spatial distribution of the barrel,the temperature control of each section of the extruder has strong coupling,and the temperature control stability of extruder barrel is poor due to environmental temperature,screw rotating extrusion and other factors.The temperature control of extruder is controlled by stages,which divides the barrel of extruder into several areas and controls them separately,so as to meet the temperature control requirements of extrusion process.In addition,the PSO algorithm is used to optimize the fuzzy PID control to a certain extent to improve the fuzzy PID controller.In order to improve the global and local search ability of the algorithm,the inertia weight and learning factor adjusted linearly and the simulated annealing criterion are used to balance the local and global search ability of the algorithm.The control algorithm is simulated by numerical simulation.The simulation results show that the algorithm is feasible.The algorithm can provide reference and basis for parameter tuning of actual production process,shorten the time needed for parameter tuning of fuzzy PID control system,and reduce waste caused by repeated parameter tuning.
