With the large-scale exploitation of oil and gas resources,the difficulty of exploitation is also increasing.Therefore,hydraulic fracturing technology is needed to increase production.Fracturing proppant is the key to improving hydraulic fracturing technology.The selection of fracturing proppant has great effects on fracturing.In this paper,based on the research on the development status of fracturing proppants at home and abroad,two different preparation methods are introduced to address the current problems in the preparation of proppants and the lack of proppant properties at home and abroad:(1)A low-density and high-strength coated proppant was prepared using quartz sand as a matrix material and resin as a coating material using a traditional coating process.The effects of NaOH on the surface treatment of quartz sand,the type of resin coated,the content of resin,and the curing temperature of the resin on the properties of coated proppants were studied.The proppants were tested by infrared spectroscopy(IR)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The chemical structure and surface microstructure were studied in detail.(2)Low-density and high-strength composite proppants were prepared by using quartz powder as the matrix material,cement as the inorganic cementing material,and resin as the organic cementing material through granulation and curing coating treatment.The granulation fluid and cement were studied.The effects of the content and coating treatment on the properties of the composite proppant,the chemical structure and surface microstructure of the proppant were studied in detail by infrared spectroscopy(IR)and scanning electron microscope(SEM).The following conclusions were reached through two different preparation methods:(1)After the quartz sand is etched by using NaOH,the crushing rate of the quartz sand is reduced by 7.67%.The best process for the quartz sand etching treatment at this time is:use 3mol/L NaOH to etch the quartz sand for 24 hours.(2)When studying the effect of the type of resin,resin content,curing temperature,etc.on the performance of the proppant coated with silica sand when the single-layer resin is coated with silica sand,it can be found that the properties of quartz sand after coating with polyimide resin The change is obvious.The best process is that the curing temperature is 180? and the resin content is 8wt%.(3)In the study of double-layer resin-coated quartz sand,the effects of quartz sand on the properties of proppant after being coated with double-layer resin were analyzed from the order of resin addition and the amount of resin added.The performance of quartz sand coated with double-shell resin is obviously better than that of single-film proppant.The best technology for double-shell film-supported proppant is:modified quartz sand is coated with 4wt%epoxy resin at 180? constant temperature After stirring for a period of time,the double-shell coating proppant prepared by coating the polyimide resin at 6wt%has the best performance,its sphericity is 0.8,the crushing rate is 2.7%,the acid solubility is 2.2%,and the apparent density It was 1.23 g/cm3 and the bulk density was 2.31 g/cm3.(4)The optimal process for the new type of composite proppant is 8wt%water-based epoxy resin for granulation liquid,5wt%polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent,and 87wt%water.The powder is 60wt%cement,40wt%quartz powder,and 5%cement additive.After granulation and pelletization,the composite proppant prepared by coating with polyimide resin after curing for 28 days has the best performance.The crushing rate,bulk density,apparent density,acid solubility and sphericity respectively are 2.4%,1.39 g/cm3,2.43 g/cm3,2.4%,and 0.9.(5)The performance of micro-morphology,cost of the coated proppants and new composite proppants in this paper were compared with quartz sand and ceramsite proppants.It is concluded that the various properties of the coated proppant and the new composite proppant studied in this paper are better than the quartz sand proppant and the ceramsite proppant,it showed the price is cheap,the process is simple,and it can fully meet various needs.
