China has thousands of years of ceramic manufacturing history,which has a profound impact on the development of ceramics in the world.Iron widely exists in nature and is easy to obtain.In ancient China,iron became the most important color element in color glaze.Famous ancient ceramic scholar niglewood once said that China is more imaginative than any other country in the world in the application of iron in traditional ceramic manufacturing technology.In this paper,the development status,process characteristics,research and development methods and production technologies of flower glaze are studied.On this basis,the main contents of this paper are as follows;1. using potash feldspar,albite,quartz,kaolin,limestone,burnt talc,zircon,iron oxide,tricalcium phosphate and organic additives as raw materials the orthogonal and single factor designs are adopted as the formula design method;the design is calculated and optimized by using the ceramic formula calculation and management software;,a series of iron oxide flower glazes were prepared;the influence of technological factors on the pattern of iron oxide glaze was studied;the preparation process parameters are optimized,and the stable batch production of iron oxide flower glaze is realized,so that it has both ornamental value and practical value.2. The melting temperature,expansion coefficient,high temperature viscosity,surface tension,thermal stability and artistic effect of glaze were evaluated.Then the influences of the thickness of the bottom glaze,the thickness of the surface glaze,the content of Fe2O3and tricalcium phosphate in the bottom glaze,the firing temperature and the holding time on the glaze are discussed.3. XRD test was used to characterize the crystal phase composition of greenbody,bottom glaze and surface glaze,and the formation mechanism of ferritic oxide flowered glaze was analyzed.The thermal change of bottom glaze and surface glaze in the optimal formulation was analyzed by DSC in the temperature range of 200-1200°C.The interfacial microstructure of the greenbody,bottom glaze and surface glaze was observed by metallurgical microscope.The surface morphology of the surface glaze,the interface morphology of the body and glaze,the thickness of the glaze layer and the structure morphology of the blank body were observed by SEM.SEM-EDS characterized the element composition and distribution of ferric oxide flower glaze prepared under the optimal technological conditions.XRF tested the oxide composition of ferric oxide flower glaze.The results show that the crystal phase of the ferric oxide glaze prepared under the optimal conditions was composed of zirconium silicate and the solid solution phase of CA-Mg-al-Fe-Si-O.Its structure is dense,the interface bonding of the green greenbodyandglaze is good,the distribution of Al,Si,Na,Sr,Zr,P,Fe and Ca elements in the glaze is uniform,and the thickness of the glaze is about100?m.The experiment results show that the prepared iron oxide flower glazes are natural in color,rich in patterns.The optimized firing temperature curve and process parameters can be used in the large-scale production of artistic porcelain,Mosaic,daily porcelain and other products.
