In this paper, in order to solve the problem of bursting porcelain phenomenon during the fabrication and usage of large glass-lined equipment, we started with improving the property of general enamel in our glass-lining industry. Changing the composition of ceramic glaze and increasing the content of metallic oxide improved the property of ceramic glaze, and increased anti-corrosion property of glass enamel, and improved their expansion coefficient, which made the stress of enamel coating keep at stable state. And then physical and chemical changing during the sintering procedure was investigated. Modifying the sintering process of the glass-lined equipment improved the stability of the equipment and decreased greatly the bursting partial porcelain phenomenon. Thus, the whole stability and anti-corrosion of glass-lined equipment were improved greatly.Based on the anti-acid ceramic glaze, middle content of ZrO2, which the content is between 6% and 7%, was added into the ceramic glaze. Their alkali resistances were equal or less than 2 g/m2.d, which the value achieved the same advanced level of the western countries. By adjusting the ratio of Zr, Si, Ti and flux, the expansion coefficient of ceramic glaze reached 11×10-6/℃, which this value is close to the expansion coefficient of rolled steel. Thus, the stress difference between two materials decreased, so the stable property of enamel coating was improved greatly. With the aid of high temperature object image microscopy, the special temperature points were measured during the sintering process, and the temperature points that need to control were determined. By virtue of TG-TDA, the temperature domain of adsorbing and releasing heat of ceramic glaze were obtained, which determined the controlled temperature. At last, the ideal sintering process is adopting two stages controlling temperature during the heating process, and adopting one stage controlling temperature during the cooling process. The experimental results showed that the microstructure and mechanical property of ceramic glaze improved obviously. Thus, the whole property of enamel-lined equipment improved greatly.
