Along with the development of continuous casting technology,each link of casting is becoming more intelligence,aimed to improve the automatic of casting and quality of slab.Adding slag is an important part of continuous casting,the thickness of the mold can directly affect the quality of slab.Therefore,it is necessary to detect the thickness of slag in the mold to achieve the need to add slag.(1)Two kinds of rectangular compensation schemes are designed,and a better rectangular compensation mechanism is selected through calculation and analysis.The slag robot uses the rectangular compensation mechanism,the slag can not only cover the mold cavity,but also reduce the waste of the slag.(2)In this paper,a method for detecting the thickness of mold powder in mold is proposed,and the thickness of mold powder in mold is monitored in real time.On the basis of the design of the slag adding robot,the laser distance measuring sensor is added,the measuring device is designed,the experimental platform is built,the system software is written and the measurement test carried on.The slag thickness is used as feedback signal and feedback to the controller,to achieve the closed-loop control of the slag machine.(3)Based on the parameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control algorithm is designed.Compared with the conventional PID control algorithm,simulation results show that the application of self-tuning fuzzy PID control algorithm,the response speed of the slag thickness control system than the conventional PID control fast 1.5s,fast6.4s time to reach the steady state,the overshoot is reduced by 8%.Application of parameter self-tuning fuzzy PID control analysis slag control effect,slag thickness control between 35 mm ? 50 mm,the control effect is good.
