Road operation practice shows that on roads that have been opened to traffic,there will be more or less accident-prone sections.As one of the possible impact factors for traffic accidents,especially heavy traffic accidents,the safety performance of roads and their traffic engineering facilities,especially their safety guarantee capabilities,continue to be highly valued by the government,industry authorities and the media and the public..However,the continuous growth and downhill sections of the expressway have a high speed,overload,and improper speed control,which bring the braking performance of the vehicle to be reduced or even fail,which is likely to cause traffic accidents and have higher operational risks.Therefore,carrying out safety evaluation on the downhill section of the expressway is not only an urgent need to continuously improve and enhance the ability of road traffic safety guarantee,but also an urgent need to respond to hot spots of public opinion in a timely manner after a traffic accident.Firstly,by analyzing the linear data of some road traffic accidents,referring to the existing research results and relevant technical specifications,the paper analyzes the accident shape and influencing factors of the expressway growing downhill section in combination with the G30 Yongchang to Shandan section expressway growing up Details of downhill sections,analysis of design features,traffic composition,operating characteristics,and operational safety status of the sections,a total of 16 secondary indicators for safety evaluation were obtained.A safety evaluation index system for the long and downhill sections of expressways was constructed,and safety evaluation was performed.The index is classified and the safety evaluation level is divided.Then,based on the existing research results,by comparing the common evaluation methods,and considering the limitations of the common methods on the research issues of the paper,a safety evaluation model of the highway downhill slope based on ANP and DS evidence was constructed,taking into account various indicators.The interaction between them is used to calculate the weight of the safety index using the ANP network structure method,and the model is automatically calculated with the help of Super Decision software.The D-S evidence theory is used to determine the identification framework.After the basic probability distribution function is determined,the Dempster synthesis is performed to obtain the safety credibility,and then the safety level of the evaluated road section is obtained by comparing the safety level division criteria.Finally,the paper conducts safety evaluation on 8 sections of the long and downhill section of the G30 Yongchang-Shandan expressway,and obtains the safety evaluation results of the 8 sections.Comparing the results with the actual evaluation results,we can see that the model and The evaluation results are scientific,feasible,accurate and reasonable.
