Research On The Difficulties And Countermeasures Of The City Appearance Management Of Kunshan

City management is closely related to the economic and social development of a city.With the rapid growth of China's economy,the scale of urbanization continues to expand,more and more people live in cities,and the task of ensuring city appearance and operation order is increasingly arduous.At the end of 2019,China's urbanization rate is 60.6%.According to international experience,urbanization rate is in the accelerated urbanization stage between 30%and 70%.It is estimated that China's urbanization rate may reach 70%in 2030.Innovation of city management mode and exploration of refined city appearance management path are the important way to promote the construction of new people-centered urbanization,and also the inevitable requirement to promote the modernization of China's governance system and governance capacity.Kunshan is the first county-level city with a GDP of over 400 billion yuan and revenue of over 40 billion yuan in the general public budget.In recent years,with the rapid economic development and the gradual relaxation of the settlement conditions,the conflict between the huge market entities and the large population in Kunshan and the lagging urban planning and public service facilities has accelerated.The scope of city appearance management is constantly expanding,the objects are increasingly complex,and the problems are more and more prominent.The traditional city appearance management mechanism is difficult to adapt to the diversified demands of citizens for high-quality life,and the relevant functional departments of the government are facing greater challenges.Therefore,it is necessary to re-examine the current city appearance management mode of Kunshan,rationally analyze the existing problems,and put forward a set of city appearance management paths that are in line with the requirements of modern urban development,the reality of regional economic and social development,and better meet the new expectations of the masses.This paper analyzes the practice of Kunshan's city appearance management in recent years as an analysis case,through elaborating the development process and dilemma,on the basis of drawing on the successful experience of advanced countries and regions at home and abroad,combining the new situation and requirements,trying to rationally analyze the pros and cons of Kunshan's city appearance management process,and put forward feasible countermeasures in order to provide some experience and ideas for Kunshan and other regions.
