Recent years,the foam has been widely used in industry,especially in the fields of production of foam materials,fire protection and metallurgy.Foam packing height and foam diameter distribution along the vertical direction are two important parameters.However,few researches have been done on the influence of particles on foam packing height and foam diameter distribution along the vertical direction,which seriously affected the industrial application of foam.Therefore,the effects of surfactant concentration,solution parameters and particle parameters on foam packing height and foam diameter distribution along the vertical direction were studied.In addition,in order to improve the foam stability further,we first proposed the method of using two different particles doping to stabilize foams and studied the effect of different particle doping parameters on the height of the foam,height distribution and foam stability.The conclusions are as follows:(I)Effect of surfactant concentration and solution parameters on foam packing height.(1)Foam packing height increased with the decrease of the surface tension.(2)Foam packing height increased first and then decreased with the increase of viscosity.(3)The effect of low concentration micelles on stabilizing the foam is not obvious,while effect of high concentration micelles on stabilizing the foam is obvious.(4)The formula of foam packing height under the action of with and without micelle is obtained by regression.(?)The effect of particle parameters on foam packing height,diameter distribution along the vertical direction and foam stability.(1)With the increasing of alcohol concentration,foam packing height first increases and then decreases.The foam packing height is biggest when the contact angle was 61 degrees.The foam diameter increase rate increased with the increase of height.(2)When the concentration of alcohol is 20%,foam packing height increased with the increase of particle size under the same concentration of particles,and foam packing height was the largest at the particle size of 5?m.(3)With the increase of particle concentration,foam packing height firstly increased and then decreased,and the foam stability is enhanced.(?)Effect of different particle doping and particle with high-concentrated surfactant doping on foam packing height,diameter distribution along the height and stability.(1)The height of foam accumulation can effectively be increased by the doping of different particle size of particles,but the inhibitory effect on the foam disproportionation is not obvious.(2)Doping of particle with different contact angles can effectively increase the height of foam accumulation and reduce the gas void fraction.The change of the concentration of particles with small contact angle has little effect on the distribution of foam diameter along the height.(3)When the particles is doped with high concentration surfactant(micelle),the foam packing height increased rapidly with the increase of SDBS concentration and the rate of foam gas decreased rapidly.When the concentration of SDBS is low,the effect of micelles on the diameter distribution along the height is small.As the SDBS concentration increase,the diameter of the foam decrease with the increase of its height.(4)The foam cannot be stabilized by the hydrophilic particles independently,only under the stabilizing effect of the surfactant or hydrophobic particles on the liquid film,the stability of the hydrophilic particles on the foam is apparent.
