Due to the non-toxic,tasteless,healthy,safe,recyclable characteristics of PET(polyethylene terephthalate),it is commonly used in food packaging,such as bottles of mineral water,beverage bottles and so on.To realize the recycling of waste plastic bottles and facilitate its transportation,storage and weighing,the hydraulic packer is often used to compress the plastic bottles into compressed plastic package.The enterprise pays the corresponding fees according to the weight of the whole package of waste plastic bottles,but there is usually a certain amount of water in the compressed plastic package,which will increase the cost for the enterprise to recycle them.This paper studies the technology and system of water content detection for whole package waste plastic bottles,focusing on the research of overall scheme of water content detection system,data sampling system and model for water content detection.For the current situation that the research on the water content detection method of compressed plastic package is almost blank at home and abroad,this paper proposes the water content detection method based on the microwave transmission method.According to the actual demands of enterprises,this paper designs the system structure and work flow of the water content detection system for the whole package of waste plastic bottles.Based on the in-depth study of the response characteristics of the sensor,for the large size of compressed plastic package,the limited detection range of sensors,and the uneven distribution of water in the compressed plastic package,this paper proposes the method of sampling the data of compressed plastic package by scanning,and designs a set of scanning sampling devices.For the water interference and non-periodic interference in the attenuation area,this paper establishes the data pre-processing method based on the response characteristic curve.Finally,through data calibration and linear fitting,establishes the water content detection model for the whole package of waste plastic bottle,and get the water content of the compressed plastic package.The results of the experiment show that the accuracy of the water content detection system is 4.2%,with mean relative error of 2.85%,meaning that it achieve relatively accurate detection for the water content of the whole package of waste plastic bottles,which meets the requirements in practical application.
