Teahouse Furniture Design Based On Bamboo Weaving Process Of Xiangxi

In recent years,with the vigorous development of China’s economy,traditional culture and traditional handicrafts have been greatly revived.Xiangxi bamboo weaving process is a traditional folk art with the regional characteristic in our country,but the traditional bamboo weaving for backward function forms,the craft is complex,low production efficiency reason in the process of modern society development is slow,so let the xiangxi bamboo weaving technology in modern life renew themselves is of great significance.In today’s society,tea drinking behavior more and more appears in a variety of social occasions and family life,people also put forward higher requirements for tea room furniture.Bamboo weaving with green environmental protection,raw materials,and the advantages of anticorrosion breathable,moisture absorption heat faster,applied to the design of furniture,teahouse to foil atmosphere tea room furniture,enhance the look of a tea room furniture,broadening the xiangxi bamboo woven products,improve the utilization and practicability of the traditional arts and crafts,to make it back into the modern life,the purpose of promoting local economic development.This paper takes the design of teahouse furniture based on the bamboo weaving craft of xiangxi as the research subject.The main research contents are as follows:the bamboo weaving process and the concept of tea room furniture in xiangxi are combed,and the bamboo weaving in xiangxi has strong design expressive force from the study of material,structure and decorative characteristics.Through the comparative analysis of the characteristic weaving techniques and other weaving techniques,the six characteristics and existing shortcomings of bamboo weaving techniques in west hunan are summarized.This paper analyzes and summarizes the size standard,style and other contents of teahouse furniture.Analyze the relationship between them in three aspects:historical culture,cultural connotation and functional demand.Combined with specific cases,the feasibility of bamboo weaving in the design and application of tea room furniture in xiangxi is analyzed from the application of bamboo weaving in furniture parts and the whole and the combination of various materials.From the four directions of product function category,appearance modeling,weaving technology,and modernization transformation,the research is carried out to deeply explore the innovative ways and methods of each direction,in the hope of providing practical reference value for the innovation and development of the design and application of bamboo weaving products in tea room furniture of xiangxi.The design practice part is three schemes with the characteristics of xiangxi as the theme:the first one takes "stilted building" as the design element,USES the combination of fabric and bamboo,and adds the innovative "swastika pattern".Plan two,study bamboo plait and leather join way,present the design plan that has contemporary feeling teahouse furniture.The third plan is to take "wuping boat" as the design element,present the design plan with industrial design methods such as modularization,and improve the low efficiency of traditional handicraft processing.Through design practice,it provides case support for the innovative design of tea room furniture in the future,excavates more cultural value of bamboo weaving craft in xiangxi,provides some enlightenment for its transformation in modern society,and makes its own contribution to the inheritance and development of traditional handicraft.
