As an important part of the light industry,the textile industry is a key industry closely related to people's livelihood.With the wave of economic transformation industry upgrading,shuttle-less looms have become more and more widely used due to their high efficiency.Because of its special weft insertion characteristics,the shuttle-less loom cannot form a light edge.In order to solve the problem of the rough selvedge by the shuttle-less loom,Different kinds of tucked-in selvage device came into being.The pneumatic tucked-in selvage device has been widely promoted as an important type of folding device in recent years with the deepening of previous studies.On the basis of the existing research,through the setting of different parameters to explore the movement of yarn in the process of tucking and its impact on the surrounding flow field.In this paper,the pneumatic tucked-in selvage device is taken as the research object.Through the combination of experiment and simulation,the change of yarn position under the action of space jet is studied.By comparing the experimental information with the simulation results,it can provide some theoretical support for the subsequent optimization and improvement of the pneumatic tucked-in selvage device.This paper mainly focuses on the following aspects:1.Numerical simulation of yarn-air flow in different conditions.A two-dimensional yarn constitutive model and air flow field model are established to simulate the change of the position and posture of the weft yarn fixed at one end under the action of different nozzles,and the movement mechanism is analyzed.2.A three-dimensional unidirectional coupling method is proposed to solve the flow field of yarn and tucked-in selvage device.The movement of yarn under the action of jet flow is simulated by using self-made Java programto combine FLUENT and ABAQUS,which provide powerful supplement for yarn folding in two-dimensional state.3.The experimental study of yarn in pneumatic tucked-in selvage device.A high-speed camera is used to capture the movement of yarn at different angle of incidence.Through the experimental analysis,the movement track change of the weft yarn under the action of two groups of air flow and the tucking state under different working conditions are verified,and compared with the simulation results.
