Electroslag remelting is the secondary refining metallurgical technology,and it can remove the harmful elements and inclusion of non-metallic in the remelting process,which can improve the purity of steel to obtain dense structure,uniform composition,good mechanical properties of the ingot.So,it is widely used in aerospace,energy vehicles,military and other industries with special requirements.With the development of industrial technology,the production process of electroslag remelting needs to develop in the direction of high control accuracy,automation and engery saving.Therefore,the research on the control method of electroslag furnace is of great significance.In this thesis,an adaptive PID control method based on particle swarm optimization is used to control the process of electroslag remelting,and the control effect is simulated and analyzed.At the same time,the electroslag furnace simulation platform is developed to simulate the industrial process of electroslag remelting,and it can be applied to the scientific research process.In this thesis,an adaptive PID controller based on particle swarm optimization is designed according to the principle of traditional PID control,the problems of electroslag remelting process and the unique characteristics of electroslag remelting process.The controller has the following characteristics:firstly,the input of the controller is the same as the input of the traditional PID,which is still the systematic error;Secondly,since the parameters of the controller are updated in real time according to the variation of system error,the control effect of electroslag remelting,such as non-linearity,time-varying parameters and strong random disturbances,will be more ideal;Thirdly,the particle swarm optimization algorithm is used to optimize the parameters of the adaptive PID controller to find satisfactory control performance index and make the control precision higher.In this thesis,the electroslag furnace simulation platform has been developed for algorithmic experiments and simulation of electroslag remelting process.The platform mainly consists of four parts:control method,electroslag furnace mathematical model,electroslag furnace control interface and electroslag furnace 3D animation.The control interface of the electroslag furnace control method and electroslag furnace mathematical model are called,and through the socket communication with 3D electroslag furnace data exchange.The animation is in accordance with the instructions in real time,a vivid image shows the process of electroslag remelting.The animation is in accordance with the instructions in real time,a vivid image shows the process of electroslag remelting.Since the system is modular,it is easy to maintain or extend.The platform can be applied to the validation of algorithms or mathematical models and other scientific experiments,is very convenient and easy to operate.
