At present,the power consumption of 5G base stations is 2?3 times that of 4G base station.The power consumption of a single AAU reaches 1300 W.Roll bond Aluminum Vapor Chamber?RAVC?,is suitable to be made into large-area cooling fin because of its high thermal conductivity,low cost and mature technology.Lack of wick,RAVC's cooling performance depends on its channels design and injecting quality,so the research on channels design and precise injecting process is very important.RAVC's channels design decides its pressure bearing capacity and cooling performance.In order to optimize the cooling performance through channel design,ensuring the pressure bearing capacity,regional RAVCs are designed by distributing the flow resistances on different regions.L-type and H-type channels are presented,and the pressure bearing capacity are checked by simulations and tests.The flow resistances are calculated through the fluid simulation,based on which several regional RAVCs are designed to improve cooling performance.The injecting quality decides RAVC's cooling performance.In order to optimize the cooling performance of RAVC through the precise injecting process,a working fluid measuring method combining the flow integral method and the timing measurement method was proposed in this paper to improve the adjusting precision.Linear compensation method and the multi-section compensation method are also developed to improve the precision.Based on the method,a precise injecting system for RAVC is designed,including the working fluid treating system and the working fluid measurement system.In order to verify the feasibility of the system,a prototype is built.The experimental result shows that the adjusting precision of the precise injecting process can be improved from 0.5ml to 0.1ml.However,due to the flowmeter,the precision of repeated perfusion is still greater than 0.5Kmeter.Based on the above conclusions,experiments were designed to verify the optimization of regional RAVCs design and precise injecting process on cooling performance,and to explore the influence of different flow channels structure and filling rate on it.The experiment results show that LHE?10%?has the highest equivalent thermal conductivity,which can reach 40,000W/?m·K?.The result shows that there is a strong relationship among channels design,filling ratio and cooling performance.It has proved the optimization of regional RAVCs design and precise injecting process on cooling performance.The results of this paper provide theoretical and technological basis to optimize the cooling performance of RAVC,and provide new ideas and useful guidance for the channel design and the precision injecting process.
