The reform and opening-up policy and economic globalization have driven the rapid development of China's economy, prompting China to play a more important role in the global value chain. In 2018,China's total export trade ranked the second in the world, accounting for more than 15% of the total output of the global paper industry, ranking the second in the world, just behind the United States, with exports reaching $19.59 billion. As the basic raw material of the manufacturing industry, the paper industry has a large market capacity and a strong correlation between various industries and industries. It is an important engine to drive the development of social undertakings and national economy and has become a pillar industry of the national economy. This article will use the theory of value-added trade within the framework of the global value chain, adopting Koopman measure and taking WIOD database as the data source, calculated from 2000 to2015 in China and other countries and regions of the world paper industry participation and status in the global value chain index in global value chain, through compared with the other countries of the measure, the results show that the paper industry in China in trade and participation in global value chain and status were improved in such aspects, has become the world's highest, tend to be more mature and perfect. The export trade of Chinese paper products has a certain impact on the local environment. In order to study the influencing factors of the paper industry's embedded global value chain on the hidden carbon emissions of export trade and its mechanism, this paper uses the MRIO model and provides a library based on WIOD to measure the hidden carbon emissions of China's paper industry, combined with many scholars The research results deduced GVC effect, scale effect, structural effect and technological effect as the influencing factor indicators, and constructed a panel model to conduct an empirical analysis on the impact of paper industry's export trade hidden carbon. The results show that scale effect, structural effect, and technical effect are all It will stimulate the carbon emissions of export trade, and as the position of the global value chain increases, the carbon emissions of export trade will decrease. Finally, based on the analysis of measured data and empirical results, the paper proposes policy Suggestions to help China achieve low-carbon economy, sustainable development and improve theposition of China's paper industry in the global value chain.
