Guizhou Province is a large province of coalbed methane resources in China.However,due to the poor permeability of coal seams and the difficulty of gas extraction,the gas extraction and utilization ability of mining areas is low.It is of great significance to study the technology of regional gas extraction and utilization in coal mines,and to improve the level of regional gas extraction and utilization by a large margin,for improving the level of mine safety production,increasing the economic benefits of enterprises,reducing greenhouse gas emissions,and improving environmental and social benefits.In this paper,the occurrence and distribution characteristics,extraction and utilization technology,market demand and economic and social benefits of gas(coalbed methane)in Panjiang mining area are systematically studied by means of field investigation,market analysis and theoretical research:(1)The gradient of gas content in Panjiang mining area is 0.0352-0.0844 m3/t m,the pressure of coal seam gas is 0.50-5.76MPa,the gas content is 3.69-28.77 m/t,the permeability coefficient of coal seam is 3.48510-4-67.586 m2/(MPa2 d),and the gas reserves are abundant,but the extraction is difficult.The capacity of the pumping system in the mining area has reached 14433 m_per minute.The system has been built to meet the needs of regional utilization and has a good development prospect.(2)The total coalbed methane resources in Panjiang mining area are 74.69 billion M and the extraction capacity is 42.66 billion M.The pure gas which is more than 6%in the early stage is 241 million m/a,and the pure gas which is more than 6%in the later stage is 351.3 million m/a.Drainage lasts for a long time and yields are stable,which is conducive to regional comprehensive utilization.Regional demand for gas(coalbed methane)utilization is strong,construction conditions are good,and market prospects are broad.(3)the utilization of coalbed methane in Panjiang Mining Area is carried out in different areas.The high concentration gas in the area is connected for civil use,and the rest is installed for power generation.The gas power plant built near the mine gas extraction station uses low concentration gas and residual civil gas to generate electricity,and 500 kW gas internal combustion engine generator set is recommended.The scale of gas power generation is 98 500 kW generating units installed in the early stage and 158 500 kW generating units installed in the later stage.(4)The total investment of gas(coalbed methane)utilization project in Panjiang Mining Area is 7.826.72 million yuan,and the total investment of pre-utilization project is 48.2032 million yuan.The internal rate of return after tax is 9.81%,which is higher than the benchmark rate of return of 8%,and the net present value of finance is 84.57 million yuan,which has certain economic benefits.With the implementation of this utilization project,the equivalent standard coal of annual utilization of CBM is 153,400 tce/a,and the equivalent standard coal is 313,800 tce/a.The utilization rate of gas is 71.93%.The annual reduction of gas emissions is 2526.69 million m3,which can reduce SO2 emissions by 7788 t,smoke and dust emissions by 9892 T and CO2 equivalent emissions by 4.3 million T.(5)After the construction and production of gas(coalbed methane)utilization project in Panjiang mining area,it is beneficial for every mine in the mining area to achieve the virtuous circle of promoting coalbed methane extraction with the utilization of coalbed methane,ensuring the smooth progress of mine excavation and mining,effectively curbing the tendency of gas accidents,and finally realizing the safety production of coal mine.In addition,the construction of the project will promote the development of the local building materials industry,promote the development of the local transport industry,construction and installation industry,promote the tertiary industry,increase local tax revenue and improve the local financial situation,which is conducive to the prosperity of local economy and culture,promote the development of social comprehensive undertakings,and achieve good social benefits.
