In this study,a series of active metals,including Cu,Co,Ni,Pd,Zn,and Sn,were used to prepare a series of M-MCM-41 catalyst,and its catalyst activity on methanol steam reforming?SRM?was investigated through a tubular reactor.The main research conclusion are as follows:1.Preparation of M-MCM-41 catalyst and research on its catalyst activityA series of M-MCM-41 catalysts were prepared by one-step hydrothermal method,and their methanol conversion,H2 selectivity and CO selectivity were tested.Among all the catalysts study,10Cu-MCM-41 and 10Pd-MCM-41 showed the highest SRM reactivity.At 250oC,10Cu-MCM-41's catalytic performance is highest,its selectivity of H2 can reach 100%and of CO is only 6%.In addition,there is no obvious CH4 at 68%methanol conversion during the reaction process.10Ni-MCM-41 and 10Co-MCM-41 have low activity in the steam reforming reaction,but have strong resistance to deactivation and good stability.2.Cu-MCM-41 catalyst formulation optimization and catalytic performance researchA series of Cu-MCM-41 catalysts were prepared by changing the loading weight of Cu.At 250oC,15Cu-MCM-41 had the highest activity and the best stability.There was no significant decrease in activity at 48h.Through characterization,it was found that when the Cu loading increased from 5%to 20%,the specific surface area of MCM-41 decreased sharply from 662 m2/g to 314 m2/g.Cu loading was Change the in the range of 5-15 wt%,the particle diameter is around14nm,the loading almost does not affect the CuO particle size.3.Research on the reason of catalyst deactivationThe results show that carbon deposition is the main cause of deactivation of most catalysts,but high-temperature sintering of active metals and structural changes of MCM-41 in the M-MCM-41 catalytic system are also important factors for catalyst deactivation.In the single metal catalyst system,the catalyst prepared by loading Pd and Cu on MCM-41 showed good stability and activity.
