Thin-walled aluminum alloy cylinder parts are one of the commonly used spinning parts in aerospace,metallurgical manufacturing,military construction and other fields.The conical cylinder studied in this subject is one of the cylindrical parts.And cone part.Because of its special shape,there is less information on this type of spinning parts in China.For this purpose,this article will study the spinning forming of conical cylinders.I hope to help people who study this kind of parts provide a theory.basis.This project first prepares to study the previous spinning experience and theory,summarizes the possible forming methods for processing conical cylinders,and conducts a comparative analysis to determine the forming scheme for processing this topic.Then,the ABAQUS finite element simulation software is used to analyze the cone shape.The spinning process of the cylinder was analyzed for stress and strain,and the best process parameters for processing the cone were selected by orthogonal test method for experimental verification.The main research contents of the paper are summarized as follows:(1)Consult relevant spinning data,compare and analyze the possible forming methods for processing such conical cylinders,and finally determine to use two powerful spinning forming schemes to process conical cylinders;(2)Based on the existing elastic-plastic finite element method theory,based on the ABAQUS software,a three-dimensional model of spinning of a thin-walled conical cylinder was established,and the distribution law of stress and strain during its simulation was analyzed,and the stress was found.The maximum value of strain occurs at the contact point between the spinning wheel and the blank,and in the second pass of spinning,the stress and strain are greater at the connection between the barrel section and the cone section of the formed zone.After that,the defects in the spinning process of the thin-walled conical cylinder were analyzed,and the corresponding solutions were put forward.(3)The orthogonal test design method was used to study the influence of the three factors of the feed rate of the rotor,the radius of the corner of the rotor and the installation angle of the rotor on the forming quality(wall thickness difference)of the thin-walled conical cylinder parts.The method obtains the optimal combination of process parameters in the selected test factor level,that is,the feed rate of the rotary wheel is 1 mm ?r,the radius of the rotary wheel is 5 mm,and the installation angle of the rotary wheel is 25°.(4)Based on the best process parameters summarized by the orthogonal test,trial production was avoided to avoid the occurrence of various defects in the spinning process,and the results showed that the conical cylinder sample met the requirements of the part drawing processing.
