Waterborne two-component polyurethane coating(2K-WPU)has the characteristics of environmental protection and high performance, which is the main direction of the development of coating technology.2K-WPU uses water as diluent, and its construction performance such as usability,pot-life and construction tolerance are still far from solvent-borne coating. With the rapid development of "oil-to-water" industrial coatings, the construction performance of 2K-WPU will attract widespread attention. This paper studies the influence of 2K-WPU coating formulation composition and construction process on construction performance, gives the impact of construction performance and adjustment methods, and prepares a high construction performance 2K-WPU for construction machinery. The experimental results show that: by adjusting the hydroxy functional polyacrylic dispersion, isocyanate curing agent,co-solvent and additives in the coating formulation, control the water mixing ratio and temperature and humidity during the construction process, prepared a 2K-WPU with excellent mechanical, chemical resistance and construction performance. Its construction viscosity is easy to adjust. In a wide range of viscosity(500 ? 2500mpa·s),the coating has good leveling property, excellent decorativeness,20 ° gloss up to 86.0,and pot-life increased from 3-4 hours to 5-6 hours, which is less affected by temperature and humidity. The construction conditions are increased from 20?30? and 50?70% humidity to 15?40? and 30?70% humidity. The film has high crosslinking degree and density, good chemical resistance, excellent mechanical properties, and outstanding abrasion resistance.
