In this paper,the improvement of the mechanical properties of SBS sole materials was studied from the following aspects:the selection of SBS brand,the blending of resin and SBS,the filling and reinforcing system,the surface modification of filler,and the improvement of the adhesion between SBS/TPU and PU leather.The effects of resin type,inorganic filler,inorganic filler surface modifier and compatibilizer type and dosage on the mechanical properties of SBS injection sole material are investigated and explained.First of all,starting from the different grades of SBS,the star SBS 1475 and the linear SBS 1401,SBS 1301 and the different proportion of the linear SBS and the star SBS were blended to study the changes of mechanical properties,wear resistance and melt flow rate.The results showed that the tensile strength,tear strength and hardness of linear SBS/Star SBS blends increased significantly with the increase of linear SBS content,while the elongation at break and wear resistance decreased with the increase of linear SBS content But the linear SBS with small S content is beneficial to keep the lower hardness of the blend system,and its wear resistance and resilience are better than those of the linear SBS with high S content.When the content of the linear SBS increases,and the melt flow rate of the linear SBS/Star SBS blend system decreases.According to the analysis of the experimental results,we can select different brands of SBS according to the performance requirements of SBS sole materials in actual production.It is of great significance to the formulation design of transparent SBS sole materials.In order to improve the mechanical properties of SBS sole materials,the effects of five common resins?HDPE,PP,PS,TPU,ABS?on the mechanical properties,wear resistance and rheological properties of the resin/SBS blends were studied,and DSC was used and The results show that PS,PP,HDPE respectively have good compatibility with SBS.PP.The combination of resin?HDPE,PP?and SBS can significantly improve the mechanical strength and wear resistance of SBS sole materials.In this paper,the effects of silica and CaCO3 on the mechanical properties of SBS sole materials are also studied.The results show that SiO2 has a significant reinforcing effect on SBS,and the reinforcing effect of SiO2 with different mesh number on SBS is not significant.When the content of Si O2 is 20 minutes,the filling system has the best mechanical properties.The mechanical properties of SBS filled with CaCO3 with proper particle size have little effect on the filling system.When the filling amount is 30-50 phr,the mechanical properties of SBS sole material can still maintain a high level,so it is of guiding significance to control the cost of SBS sole material.In order to improve the dispersion uniformity of inorganic fillers and further improve the mechanical properties of SBS system filled with inorganic fillers,three silane coupling agents?KH550,KH560and KH570?were used to modify the surface of SiO2 and aluminate coupling agent was used to modify the surface of CaCO3.It is found that the mechanical properties of SBS/SiO2 composite can be significantly improved when the content of KH570 is 1.0 phr,and the mechanical properties of SBS/CaCO3 composite can be significantly improved by aluminate.Finally,considering the practical application,the sole material is often used together with the PU leather material.In order to improve the production efficiency,improve the product quality and simplify the production process,TPU and SBS are blended to prepare TPU/SBS composite material,so as to improve the adhesion between SBS sole material and PU leather.The choice of compatibilizer and the dosage of compatibilizer were studied.Finally,PP-g-MAH was the best compatibilizer,and the mechanical properties of the blend system were the best when the dosage was 1.0 phr.
